12. why is there a silent icon on the hash key?
13. the unlock swap is pointless and annoying
|
|
Hash does work the same way as holding clear on the T610 - but holding clear still works as well. Better than the nonsense of the unlock swap which is really frustrating at times.
That said, it is a truly great phone.

but all in all I'm most worried about the battery life and the "2" key.
I'm hopin that by now some ppl will have done @ least 3 full charge cycles, so I can get more on that... |

i'm also intereseted in the battery life and would appreciate some feedback from the early adopters.
What I also want to know is, how did some of these issues people are reporting (presuming they're real) get through testing? The ones in particular I'm thinking of are the battery indicator and the rebooting after using the bluetooth connection. Either should have been pretty obvious after even a short period of use in the lab. So, to me that means that either:
1. The issues don't exist (i.e. are user error or unfamiliarity with the 'phone).
2. SE haven't bothered doing any testing.
3. SE aren't bothered that they've released a buggy handset.
None of these seem particularly likely to me, so what the hell is going on? |

on mine I can go to settings, shortcuts and configure the shortcut for each direction of the joystick (or navigation key as they call it)

I think it's a nice implentation (is that the word?). It makes it easier for the n00bs not to care about the different names of SMS, EMS, MMS and so on...
It's great to get the option to reply with an SMS to an MMS... |

as for SE not doing bug testing, they are , except you lot are the guineapigs!!!
Lots of companies do the same, they release a small sample/pilot, and see what problems and feedback they get, before launching full scale.
thats why the other networks still havent got it, and the lack of advertising.'
its the best way to test them. |

just discovered a mechanism problem.
you just open/close your battery door around 10 times, then you'll notice that the battery door is getting losen. and it is very irritating when performing key press coz the feeling of holding the phone is very bad. |

why does no-one else mention the disappearing phone numbers? i entered all my numbers individually as my old fone didnt have a copy to sim thing. and every contact i entered had aatleast one number missing, i also deleted them off my old fone as i was going along. annoying now i have to fone up all my mates and get their numbers. |
