i dont now i really do like my A925 z1010 has a lot of little flaws which do my head in with the UI. Its probably the best but then again considering the current generation of 3 handset that doesent take much.
Yes my purse is huge i carry round lots of money and card with me i am quite rich.

@Bengal Girl: I do not think that the phone has a number of UI flaws. I It has a number of very nice improvements to the UI compared to the T610. But if you compare it to other brands than SE I guess you can have general objectives to the SE UI, but that is another issue... |

not at all sir i find the the UI on the T610 and T630 very good and acceptble. The problem lies within the responsiveness it feels slower and theirs a delay between pressing a button and the light coming on i have seen this delay with the SX1 and 6600 its something that shouldnt happen with such a device.
After reading this thread it seems as though many people have it in their head that this phone is influential as a p1000 but your all hyping it too much. Just wait a week or so when it graces the shop floors their will be a lot of dissapointed people outh there.

I disagree, the phone will sell very well.
Maybe hardcore fans will be disappointed that it wasen't so good that they thougt it would be, but the big market will buy it. And it's a good phone after all. |

I wonder if you have a "trial unit" with some kind of "debug" software in it? I got my Z1010 two days ago(no trialunit), and the UI is not at all slow or nonresponsive! In fact it as many times faster than my previous T610. I haven't found anything that is slower on my Z1010 compared to my old T610.
Regarding the hype around the phone. I'm sure that there will soon be smaller and even more feature rich 3g mobiles announced, but that will allways be the case. As long as the phone delivers what is promised by SE for this particular model, I'm 100% satisfied. In some ways the p900 can do many things the Z1010 not can do, and Z1010 can do things the p900 can't for example. The key is to buy the phone that fits your expectations. For people that is not so "feature" interested, the phonedealer should be able help people out on this issue!

But don't smile to much, cause if you click at the tab "Pris" there will be a message saying:
"Bemærk: Sony Ericsson er først i butikkerne medio maj."
Which means: Sonyericsson will be in stores in the midle of maj!!!!
This has to be a misstake!
And if it is true, then 3 will miss the hype for the phone.. And very soon Tele2 and Vodafone at sweden will begin selling 3G and both are selling Z1010...
This will have an effect on their sales!
Or maybe I am wrong  And I get like this when my patience is next to zero I want it now!

The CPW website (coming soon section) is now saying that the Z1010 is expected May 2004. I haven't seen the phone on their site in the past, so this could mean things are genuinely progressing, but is it wishful thinking? |
