whoa! i'm in unchartered waters here, regarding palms and T39s. I haven't found much use for a PDA. As a newbie, should i get a M125 or something else? to back up my directories
well anyways,

Since the latest sw upgrade R4a 008,
my only peeve is that my T39 occassionally restarts, and i hate a master reset(again), since i don't have a back up , nor a data cable.

As a consolation, I never experienced a T39 hang-up or freeze. Just the restart

i'll take the m505 over the m125, or an m130 over an m125,

505 vs 515, is a matter of personal preference. 515 has bigger memory (16mb vs 8mb), and brighter screen (because of re-arranged backlights), the 505 would be cheaper as it has been stopped from production.

If sharp zaurus' sl5500 would eventually come out with internal :bt:, i'll take it over the rest

you can try the second hand market for good bargains. the 505 would be a good candidate because it has become obsolete with the entry of the 515.

if you're going to get any palm, inquire if they have "used" their technical support from singapore (the one we use in asia). Coz you only got 90 days technical support from the first time you call in.

much better if you can get your hands on the O.R. too.

difference between the 1xx and 5xx are the form factor and memory capacity.

(i think the discussion is now off topic. feel free to send me a PM, or look up for the old palm thread and post it there for everyones info)

well, sony ericsson manufactures great phones.

however, try to shelve the nokia mindset when you get to own one. most particularly when it comes to texting and ui speed. you'll get used to it!! good luck!

by the way, smartnet upgrades phones while you wait.

Does anyone know if the new firmware resolves the T39m 70h battery stand-by limit problem or if I still have to run the fix as well??
