Ok, have just called again and they have now advised that they are expecting them in stock within the next 10 days.
Giving up now!

@ For those of you who are getting a P9 with a view to later dowgrading the tariff,
PLEASE READ THIS;
be aware that OSPS wont do it before 4 months without a penalty, so when calculating the price, remember that CPW DO price match OSPS to £99 (on YP400) & on CPW its "3" months untill downgrade, so on month 4 you save £35, in other words OSPS & CPW actually work out almost identical in price in the long run.
ALSO since 3rd Nov CPW have been smoothly selling P900's without any bullshit, if you have problems with a phone & need to sort it out with the retailer ask yourselves who you would rather deal with... OSPS or CPW.
Reminder; milk, sugar, crisps, post letter. |

Obviously OSPS seem to have annoyed alot of people here, I thought I'd just chip in with my experience, to provide a bit of balance.
I placed order on the 8th Nov (over the phone - wanted to talk to someone)
Was told phones should be in stock soon, etc.
Missed first batch on 10th, was told I'd be in next batch on 12th.
Rang on 12th, told that the new stock was in.
Completely suprised to find P900 on my desk on 13th!
Onto other objections about the direct debits:
I just rang them about that Talk Me Through It service. The guy on the phone emphatically stated that the only direct debits to be taken from my account were the Orange talkplan. No insurance, no TMTI.
I, for one, am a happy customer at the moment.

Just phoned carphone warehouse who said they couldn't price match if osps had no stock - i also mentioned the downgrade after 3 months and he told me it was actually 6 months! |

@hopdylan
Also just called CPW, was advised exactly the same.
Not amused......
Looks like we will have to wait for OSPS |

@danvan
I too am a relatively happy customer with this company although I was rather more laid back when it came to expecting delivery.
With regards to Direct Debits, I provided osps with my banking details thinking that they would use them to set up a direct debit with Orange. In the end I got two letters from osps saying that direct debits would be taken for insurance and tmti. I phoned orange and had to manually set-up a direct debit with them as they had no details on their system when my account was set-up.
Have you tried to Phone Orange to see if they have a DD set-up for you?
Again, aside from this small issue, osps have been relatively good. I'm sorry that other people have not found them to be as swift as they were for me. |

After cancelling my order with Onephonebullsh*tshop, I phoned up Carphone Warehouse last night and actually managed to get the phone for £79.99 after confirming that they have the phone in stock on the yourplan400.
Got home tonight and my neighbour had taken it in for me and i am now off to play with my P900 |

@gatton - did you have to pricematch someone to get it for £79.99? |

I just told them that Onestopphoneshop were doing them for 69.99 and he said the best he could do was 79.99.It is ona 50 a month tariff though but with 200 free texts it isnt that bad a deal.
I phoned them last night at about 7pm and they had 5 in the warehouse then.
I also got the envelope to send off my crapy old nokia with manual and charger which will get me another 20 quid back.

I contacted bullshitphoneshop today and got told my credit card was invalid. I've had the card 2 years and have a limit of 1000, i'd rather go somewhere else now.
