You will listen to your mp3's via the headphones/hands free that is supplied with the phone, like most nokias that have the radio feature

ill definitely wait for the 6230 , t630 does not have an MMC , .....

Why is MMC so important? Do you want this for listening to MP3/WMA files? If so, then is there going to be a steroe headphone jack socket because I do not think this was listed.

It think the 6230 looks impressive.. and might be the "phone to get"
as it seems liek the closest to a smartphone even though it isn't
the v600 looks pretty good too..
SE.. well lets' hope they have something else cause the t630 is not on par with these bad boys.
i'm getting a 6600 this week.. it should be pretty good loved my 3650.
one compliant though is every phone nokia makes has stereo sound except for their smartphone line... what idiots!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
oh well... my expericence with my p800 was short lived... it was too heavy and too delicate but was also very cool. series 60 is better the UIQ IMO though..
maybe I'l grab a p900 soon.. but besides the t226 rf suffers in Canada.
let's hope the p900 is as good when i get one.....
but back on topic... 6230 looks pretty good right now..let's hope SE comes out with something better and fast..i also wouldn't mind seeing them come out with a smartphone.. not a pda phone... but a smartphone... that would be killer!!!

Why talking about Nokia 6230 have impressiv fautures???????
This is no new feature's from Nokia.
Look at the 3650 the have also VGA,video record and MP3 player.
The 6230 is only a 3650 in small device, don't let by fool by Nokia guys.
Als the MP3 and the radio is very bad quality and video recorder is limit to 10 sec: in poor 128x128 resolution.
Guys this is no impressive phone te 6230 it's only a mix from 3650 and 6220.
And SE have far better build and hardware quality than Nokia. |

@dr_sy
don't know if you were replying to me, but my point is to use the phone you have to turn it on, but I don't want the radio (as in rf, not as in radio1) to have to come on.
2 reasons,
1 not allowed on planes
2 when you can't get a signal - underground or wherever - phones seem to hang every few seconds as they search for signal, which is a pain if you are playing a game, or I imagine, if you are listening to music |

spoken like a true loyal SE addict.
don't get me wrong I'm going for the underdog too...but the 6230 does have a leg up..
but again I am comparing this to what SE has annouced today not some secret super phone...
the audio quality on the nokia's are not crap except for the 3650 and 6600. the other nokia radio phones seem to be on par with the p800 (a little below) IMO |

I have say already 6220.
If Nokia self use his OS,than should by woried
To DragonEye:
If you test the audio quality between the P800/P900 agains all Symbian phone's from Nokia, than is SE far better with quality it is so clear pure sound and stereo
So even with 40 serie from nokia,it is so limit, believe me.

Never said it's gonna be the best but it is decent...but i'm not that picky.. heck the t68i mp3 was good for me.
I just think some of you guys don't give credit where it's due...nokia puts together this pretty package and people start hating on it..
if SE brings it out... it's WOW this is the greatest thing in the world..
again don't get me wrong... I hope that SE has something good cooking to come out soon casue I like the SE software much better in terms of conectivity and creativity and it also seems like they;ve mastered rf on 1900 not too

Sure they will kill, their consumers and not SE (heard about exploding Nokias recently).

This is exactly how the downfall for Ericsson started a couple of years ago. Everything Nokia made was praised. Everything Ericsson made was hated.

As someone has already mentioned- I think all this is giving SE WAY too much credit- its not like they're Nokia's main rivals! By any stretch of the imagination.
For the idiot who said that the radio quality is crap etc...- have you ever owned a 6230? Have you ever tried it?
Oh, and what are you comparing it to? Which SE phone with built in radio are you comparing it to? Hahaha. There is none.
Nokia have had awesome radio in phones since my 6510 way back. AND its good quality. |

When the T68 first appeared, Nokia fans held out for the supposedly more advanced 7210.
Even now, one Nokia user I know would rather buy a 7210 than a T610. \"Technology doesn't make a phone better\", he said.
So now that the 6230 is out, I'm sticking to my trusty T610, while I wait for something better. SE, or any othe manufacturer, ain't gonna go down just because of the 6230. After all, \"technology doesn't make a phone better\"...

Yeah, you can stick to the T610, but think about all those accumulated minutes and hours of your life you are wasting, waiting for the menu options to come on, and the java games to load!! Thats one slow piece of crap. |

What? SE uses its own OS in its phones and software wise, it's just as limited as Nokia OS, Siemens OS, and Samsung OS. Symbian OS is what makes the difference. Those are smartphones. And if the 6230 is bringing us features we've only seen in big, bulky Symbian phones before, what's your problem?
If the T630 had VGA camera, MP3 player,MMC slot (or the more expensive SD), inbuilt FM radio, speakerphone, Java etc etc, you'd be cumming in your pants. But when it's a Nokia, you just choose to live in denial.
btw. stop using babelfish to translate your arguments |
