@Sage
That motor is so not worth it - I bought my wife one, just so she could pop down the shops etc. when we run out of caviar, but the just sucks. I'd go for some poxy Beemer, say, a 330Ci or something like that...

I don't know who manufactures the BT kit for BMW, but I had the SE one put in my BM'er and it works fine. It also works in the Land Rover...... So couldn't you just get BMW to put the SE one in instead of ....dare I say it.... an obviously pants piece of kit of theirs. Seems like an easy soloution.

@Sage - you had the same problem with me.
I had the Lamborghini Dioblo VT SE Customized 2004 Edition Car also!! But I sold it because my P800 would not fit into the glovebox!! I never saw the cup holders in the car! So I sold it and I lost about 40K but thats ok because after buying the F50 Ferrari it put a smile on my face again!
Then I found out that F50 did not come with cupholders or a Glovebox!!! Now that pissed me off a little cause I just paid $1.2million for it. So I took it back and the Dealer and he gave me some super glue and glued my p800 to the dash! and it sits there perfectly now!!!
I was happy untill I drove home and could not remove my P800 from the dash!!!
LOL!
but then again if I had a F50 with the p800 glued to the dash! I dont think I would leave the car anyway! |

U know I had the same problem too ! But I decided I would just use my Ferrari F50 for a garden ornament and get the Ferrari Enzo instead. It seems to have a cupholder i think. Can anyone verify this? I also heard that it comes with a free pink taco. Is that true?

The latest news on this
BMW germany have confirmed the P800 is not compatible with their BT, plans are under way to update the software on the BT but no date has been given,
Looks like i'm going to have to use my T68i with the car then. |

Did he even say he lived in Vancouver BC? :-s
I have a suspicion he is in the UK/Europe, and maybe ur BMWs are like a dime a dozen in Vancover BC (much like dead Iraqis killed and maimed by US cluster bombs in Iraq are also a dime a dozen(!)) but I dont know if u have the capacity, which u seem to inherited off ur American neighbours, to think that there are actually other countries in the world past ur borders, that do not have the same McDonalds, Baywatch and Walmart culture, ideals and reckless society as North America? Non?
HEHE!

@Indianbwoy
Hey Canadians are nothing like Americans, they're still loyal subjects of Her Majesty, so lay off them.
Please post a catty comment back, I've been dying for a bit of verbal fencing all day and nobody is giving any!
This whole issue of bluetooth working on swanky cars, well its totally rediculous. If your really posh you wouldn't have to bother your arse setting it up in the first place, you'd have your driver do it for you
