precisely. if you read further up, you see people saying things like "t610 design is so much better", "z600 aint lookin good". now is this nokiaish mentality or what!?

everyone's here just to share views. 
of course, there'll always be this "fashion over function" itch inside most of us... and yes, that's what i call Nokia-ish. 
i find T610 and Z600 to be in different design classes. Z600 being a clamshell and T610 being a candybar (is that what u call it?) phone. comparing other clamshell phones to the Z600 in the same feature-class would make more sense if you ask me. |

yep, and the internal antenna design of the z600 will thrash the gd87/88 and that v200... |

I have neither the T610 nor the Z600 but I plan to get the Z600 if possible when it is launched in Malaysia in Oct, meaning next month, approxiamtely priced at MYR 1600 = USD 425.
By the way I like the T610 too because of its size but I have a lot of so-called candy bar sized phones so this time I'm gonna get a clamshell phone.
Can't wait for it to arrive at our shores!

what is immature is people getting so exited over a dead thing like a phone that they feel the need to constantly "defend it" just cause someone calls it crap or a brick.
I agree crap is not really a very informative word to use - but If someone feel it is crap you should respect their opinion, even if you dont agree with it, and stop flaming them trying to educate them in how to express themselves or what to say.
That is annoying if anything is !!!!
There will allways be posts like that - if they annoy you, ignore them.
Enlighten us, Dazzle us with your opinion on this 7th wonder of the world - and Ill read it with interest and respect your opinion - but stop flaming others for expressing their opinion.

If they released an upgrade of T610 with a TFD screen & dedicated speaker, I would be tempted to buy it..., but clamshell - just not for me..

And nonetheless, I find no "crappy" SE phones!! I'd have much audacity to use that term on Nokia *evil*, but not on SE

But one good thing about STN screen is that other people around you would not be able to read your screen so they don't know what u r doing with your phone ..........haha !

well, to contradict myself, there IS one thing crap about the z600. i was hoping its external screen was bigger. like, maybe 101x80. hehe. with 4096 colors. now that would be a cool phone. but the z600's external screen is a tad too small for my liking. |

it's not just the better screen. the bigger memory and the handsfree mode (when you have the phone on the desk and you can talk with it... i don't know what's it called ) are great too. i will consider it... |

It does not have more memory as far as I know.
Only 2mb memory, just like the T610.
The screen is better though - and though Im normaly not a big fan of clam phones - I think the Z600 and Z200 are rather nice actually.
