24mm : 48MP 1.12 micron , exmor T
14-18mm : 48MP 0.6 micron, exmor T
70-135mm: 48MP 0.6 micron , exmor T
All three exmor T? Kind of doubt it but it would be dope if it happens.
Telephoto would be the one to benefit the most out T that's for sure. |

MWC is about 6 weeks away and there is nothing solid about 2024 lineup. No strong evidence the changes (name, design, approach) are actually true. |

I would be pretty exciting if they did decide to break with the norm.

It is mid january and not even certification yet. That is too weird. |

S24 series is huge flop. Nothing exciting.
Huge opportunity for Sony, but obviously gonna waste again I bet. |

Price is expected to go up by another 10%... because of the 3 sensors using lytia..
Will front camera be micromatrix??
Also, please add vapour chamber or a better heat dissipation technology onto upcoming phones. It's critical.

@hawk12 Nah man, the S24 is very well refined and pretty much excels in everyday use. One UI is very polished and much more flexible than Xperia android with its 10 year old lockscreen clocks and very barebone customisation. The game has moved forward a lot. The only reason I have an Xperia is for the SD slot, literally nothing else. Xperia is an camera enthusiast phone, nothing more. |

Zero reason to buy s24 over s23.
The 115mm of ultra gives weaker results than 230mm of previous.
The trick of using center of full res photo of non-bayer never works well.
Also it is ridiculous samsung is selling 8GB base ultra for EU zone when other regions get 12GB for lower price.
About 8 days to finish january and sony has not certified any phone. Something is wrong.

guys - i came here for the first time since 2020 in hopes of seeing rumors for a great new phone in 2024 to tempt me into upgrading my beloved 1m2... and nothing.
sad.
guess I'll be waiting for 2025 and maybe there will be an entire revamp, newly named series and design language?
