I've been using the iPhone X for the last couple of days and I really struggle because it lacks the home button, not even a virtual one. I hope that the new designs retain the side fingerprint scanner because having it on the back is a poor move as seen in the prototype pictures.
By shine you mean that the new phone will have a shiny finish similar to that on the current XZP. By distinctive Sony design you mean that the back of the phone will be typical Sony minimal design and front being familiar, more like the XA1. |

That's exciting to know that 2018 will bring some new design language. I dont' care about OLED.. i think sony's LCDs are pretty good these days. The only reason to go OLED would be to fit more stuff in there and go bezeless.
Excited to see what sony comes up with!! Lucky XJ for getting a glimpse before anybody else.

of course man. as much as i love my XZP, i want to see Sony be the top dog in mobile again. I think if they can produce a quality bezelless phone and improve their image processing, they'd easily be top dog. with XZP as an example, it's clear sony is doing a great job optimizing software and their update speeds are putting every other manufacturer to shame.

In all honesty mate I really don't want to ruin the surprise of what's to come. MWC honestly can't come quick enough. For me personally I'm as excited about the new flagship as I was about the Arc S which is my all-time favourite Android from Sony.
