Sad but true. Reviewers are already writing off any flagship device with less than 6GB ram. Like WTH!
Like I had mentioned elsewhere, its safer for makers to ship 6GB RAM for their flagships. For eg. Daydream has a min spec requirement of 4GB.. We are reaching the upper limit of 4GB RAM and with techs such as this requiring at least 4 GB, its safer to have 6GB leaving room for newer techs to be compatible.

These folks seem convinced there'll be a Smartwatch 4 shown very soon. If true, I'm curious to see what direction they're going with it considering it's been quite a while since the Smartwatch 3 was announced. |

Sony recently unveiled a very small camera for possible use in Smartwatches. Really small, it weighs just a tenth of a gram. For use in an upcoming wearable?

He is referring to the Apteligent data which was reporting on New Top Flagship Devices only. Not companies as a whole
So he basically just wrote that article because he was frightened people might be confused that Sony Mobile had shot to number one globally, with just the Xperia XZ?

From writing point of view, having a squarish design is to prefer.

I like this! The ability to now make video calls from your watch (don't think it's been done before) is the thing of pure Sci-Fi and on small screen the resolution would be more than acceptable and if this is implemented into a few SmartWatch from Sony, this could be a real head turner.

It seems to be the logical next step after being able to make calls from the Smartband.
Wouldn't it need to have a pretty loud speaker as well though? If you're making a video-call outside on a high street then the caller would have to be heard too.

Noise suppression microphones would be needed but a decent loud speaker would definitely be a must. Also a decent refresh rate for the screen would be be an advantage too.
