you seem to contradict yourself- first you say you didn't accuse displaymate of being biased and nw you are saying that you don't trust them because they are singing praises to Samsung. One last time: their finding is based on actual test not opinion- i understand that you suspect they are fudging the test (as childish as this may sound) but for the rest of us until a website comes out with new tests that are contracdicting the results from displaymate we are happy to take their findings. And no offense just trying to disprove a website without any factual evidence isn't bringing anything to the discussion- you are more than wellcome to post here links with new test results and i am pretty sure everyone here will appreciate it |

And how does my personal disbelief in their reviews equal accusations of bias? For all new know, it could be nothing more than a paid review, like that time when samsung paid students money to write bad things about HTC in Taiwan. And no, it doesn't equal accusations of bias.
I'd just rather wait for a review from someone who tests screens from different manufacturers all the time. |

I know what you're getting at, I do.
But, again as aussieland1 has just said its not about complaining about one websites findings when nobody else is coming forward with anything that disagrees with it. That's the point you're missing. We as consumers buy our favourite choice depending on such information and usually after we have tried the product in store prior to purchase. Tests like these, just like for example a camera sample test are used to help people make an informed decision.
And, if the Note 4 is anywhere near as good as the S5 where the screen is concerned, it'll be a winner hands down. The pure whites of the S5 screen make every other phone ive ever used look yellow or dull and yet it manages better battery life than any other phone ive seen in a long time.
So for now, the tests and samples that these lucky people on these websites that have had access to the hardware are only helping me decide whether it'll be worth me buying one.

I'll be more than happy to admit that Note 4 truly has a great screen, but for now, don't blame me for being skeptical. Galaxy S5 is considered very uneven when it comes to color reproduction (based on measurements), by more than one website, so I'm not buying first positive opinions and prefer to wait for some more data |

I would love to see links to those websites - but by that I mean websites that are performing actual tests |

Nothing simpler - just look at anandtech where they discovered that greys are more green than grey, phone arena which shown how at different display modes white was blueish and watch Erica Griffin reviewing S5. Those are all opinions based on measurements |

On her Google+ page, Erica Griffin says that DisplayMate's measurement data regarding Note 4's colour accuracy is manipulated. They are deliberately lying and she's quite pissed about it.

I think I'm going for Charcoal Black, I'll be allowed to pick in-store.

Going by the S4 and Note 3 last year, we may get both Exynos and Snapdragon. If the Exynos has LTE then yeah, prob get Exynos alone. It should arrive around same time as UK, especially on Vodacom (Vodafone SA)

Thanks man it's been difficult, I won't lie, but once the Note 4 was unveiled I was more at ease and then the iPhone 6 Plus with its tiny 1GB RAM was unveiled my mind was truly made up.
