According to reports the HTC One may be delayed in some markets due to some component shortages. HTC surely should have prepared themselves for this especially after their recent slump in sales again. Camera module and voice coils are the shortages

Camera module shouldn't be an issue 4.x MP sensors have been on the market for years now - unless its unique.
This is a great looking, great designed and seemingly great performing smartphone! I'll consider this an option to ugprade in the mid-year (updates are critical). For now I'm going with a platform I know and see great growth potential in - although hated by just about everyone here - BB10.

Three Store had one of these to play with. One word - stunning.
Built quality was second to none - that aluminium and pure glass front beat the Z imo. Super LCD is gorgeous
Not sure about Sense, didn't seem that intuitive but then I didn't play with it that much.
I havent seen one yet but i cant wait. I was looking at the GSM arena preview of the phone close up and the aluminium shape and styling is Apple quality in attention to detail.
Like i said HTC are great, but going with their products is often about compromising on other functions or features. Just like last years One X, the One is a beauty. I cannot imagine Samsung topping its design. Where Samsung will excel is the functionality.

Dam that does look like a great phone, but is it just me or does anyone else think that the blink feed looks a lot like wp8 tiles?

The Verge review states that the power button is on the top of the phone
When will the designers learn. |

I think this will hurt HTC. Real shame. |

Sorry for all the multiple posts:

Engadget review.

Verge review.
Bit disappointed by the full size camera samples provided by Engadget, the outdoor daylight landscape shots are a bit of a letdown imo.
Other than that, great device.

What I was saying about it being a really good device besides the size (the screen being too small for its body) and ui (if I wanted that ui, I'd get a windows phone which have amazing default keyboards by the way), but doomed to not sell well because the HTC One X too was an amazing device but didn't sell was true before the delays.
Now I say unless HTC price this very competitively, which they haven't ever done recently, then the S4 and Z will murder this, unless they too have a massive marketing campaign behind it.
They are still my second favourite Android OEM. I used to love them for their designs, but ever since they have started copying (windows phone 8x is a complete lumia rip-off and the One a combination of the xperia ion and p), I don't really care anymore. |

I've read that the One does look like a BB Z10/iPhone5 rip off,but DAMN, Xperia Ion and P???? I've officially heard it ALL!

Now you are just a troll. Which has always been obvious since the Z has released, feeling the heat in the Samsung camp, eh? The One looks like a Z10, but how long did they have to copy it? They couldn't have really. The iPhone 5? In some ways.
On that note, instead of you just reading they look similar, why not actually open your eyes and look yourself?
