Felt that I needed to update this thread on such a quality & yet overlooked phone from the fan-base.
marketing is returning back to their true fullsteam form of yesteryear.

Just played with a live working Elm at O2 store in Birmingham this morning. Its £119 on pay and go at last a great value decent spec phone from Sony Ericsson. It felt good to hold and had nice feel and build quality. Very nice think i shall get one. Also menus seemed fast. Just noticed now the Elm is cheaper online @ O2 website £100 Easter offer

Go get it Bono and tell us all about your Elm. I like the curved back of it, looks sophisticated.

Yeah I actually said a bit further back I never liked the design but I now eat my words & not ashamed to say so. It's a nice phone & the cheapest brand new 5 mega pixel camera phone to market. Well done lets hope we see more value handsets like this

So did you order one Bonovox? I had my eye on this, but rushed ahead and bought the C510. Now I'm thinking that I might eBay the C510 and get the Elm instead... |

Not a wise move. Keep the c510.

Why do you say that tranced?
I got the C510 to replace my old K800i (that was probably a less wise move!) and the camera is not good in comparison, but I don't find myself using the camera that much. I was more interested in the aGPS and wi-fi (the Elm does have wi-fi right? It's not just a screw-up on their website?). |

The camera is far better on the Elm.

Yes it is. I did say before in lowlight the screen is a little on the dark side but when placed in good light it's as good as any other screen. It's just the light sensor on the Elm seems to go lower than most in low light.
