The only way to is to practice good hygiene and try not to(though not always possible)to come into contact with someone who already has it. Its like the common cold or flu its one of them things that is not easy to stop or stop yourself from getting. Just practice as good hygiene as good as possible though i dont know of any other ways of preventing yourself getting it. Perhaps try the NHS website but mostly its common sense. |

as what bonovox said practice good hygiene...thats the best prevention,
we all know that prevention is better than cure, additional to that make sure that your health is always in
good condition, eat plenty of fruits like oranges coz it's plenty of vit c., drink plenty of water, avoid lack of sleep
and don't forget to take vitamins as your energy booster..
Don't be so quick to judge me, you only see what I choose to show you. |

Nope. Just media hype has calmed down lately.
We've had 8 people go off sick with confirmed cases this month.

So the Vaccine is now in due course across the UK but only certain people are allowed it at the moment then they OAPS are next, so where does that leave us folk? aren't we allowed it imnot being funny but everyone should have it cos Swine flu isn't funny its a killer it does kill folk of

look how much people died because of normal flu in 2007, 2006, 2005, etc. swine flu is lite version of flu in aspect of mortality, however world media caused psychosis. why do you think that swine flu is ultimate killer? it's not but you think it is because world media are talking about it. nobody is talking about normal flu which kills tens of thousands of people every year
you can get vaccine for swine flu and you can can fall ill with other variant of flu. what makes sense to vaccinate against one variant of flu when there are many new mutated variants every year? nonsense

Was reading an article last week.
There was over 65,000 confirmed cases the week before that, but the total UK death toll from swine flu had only just breached the 100 point. Those receiving the jab will be cancer patients and others with weakened immune systems, people between the ages 6 months and 65 years with underlying health problems, and all pregnant women. (I don't think I've missed anyone out)
Anyway, the point is, Miss UK, unless you fall into those categories, you're not really at risk, and I'm near certain the government will have carried out an appropriately detailed assessment of the situation before deciding that healthy people don't need the jab

The way there saying it on the news is when the vunerable ones have it then they will be looking at
vacinating everyone else though, im not bothered tbh but i'd rather have the jab just to be on the ok side if it will happen or not who knows!
