Updating C702 fooling SEUS |

R3EA037 is reported to be available at SEUS today, at least for 1201-0116 (central euro generic), however have not tried yet, scared of losing all configuration in phone. This FW is reported to be noticeably faster and also bug with occasional missing sound after bootup was fixed. Still waiting to get flash files rather than SEUS, to save all the config if possible. |

Ah nice I will give it a go, need to revert my phone to a default version. The frankenstein doesn't get properly recognised by SEUS 
Apparently R3EE001 should also be out today for some CDA's too bad se-nse forums didnt list for which CDA, I dont feel like spending an hour trying different generic ones, I will wait for now and only a try a few 
Updating my phone now with the 1201-0116 Central Europe CDA, I wonder what it will give me!
Update done, it is a lot faster indeed, copying my sim contacts never went so fast. Version is R3EA037. No branding, just a whole lot of slavic languages, and of course English, so no problem here. Thanks for the heads-up Anakunda.
If I knew howto extract the firmware from the phone or from my SEUS cache I would do so. But I don't know how or if its possible at all. I'll go play around with the new firmware now.

Wow-a! Too many firmwares for one phone. Gosh, i've been so busy lately that i've missed these out. Do a benchmark test and compare them with my last results at the FPC Bench thread

Will do tranced. I have to say this version is really a lot faster, it also seem the display is a bit more crisp and the keypad back lighting brighter. And I always put the brightness on 50% so that is saying something I'm glad English is in every firmware

If you need other languages than the ones in Central Europe FS I guess, maybe there are more CDA's out there...
I ran the tests and put them in the designated topic, looks much faster than the previous one you tested, I did not run all the digit tests thought.

Just updating mine! only updated it on Wednesday!

MyPhoneExplorer can pretty much backup anything I need back'd up. I also store most things to the memory card flashing doesn't really put me back apart from a few small settings which I can set with blindfold by now
The speed of the menu's really has increased. Wonder how much more optimisation they can do.

the update went fine with the central-europe cda. now im trying the western-europe cda. will let you know what firmware my phone was upgraded to.
btw, i did a benchmark test and i liked it. it's improved!
edit
did the update with the western-europe cda and it upgraded to the same version. but now i have Español(spanish) , not from Latin America but Spain. but who cares

I'd be more happy with main + FS too. Don't know really if full flashing retains all the config but at least want give it a try - it can't be worse than SEUS. This upgrade is probably the last at all for c702 and c90x phones. If so, that's good and bad news so that making SEUS won't be as much pain if no flash file soon.
For MAIN try checking downloads/firmware at topsony.com and iprotebe.cz, dunno if there's more to check |
