Yes, I was going to mention how great my K800i was. It is over 2 years old now, still functional, mint condition, at the time was an outstanding handset...
Then I have two K850s break in one year, and the paint on the D pads of both my K850i and T700 started to peel away after a couple of months of daily use.
For people, like me, who say they dont need Wifi, how can you tell you wont like it untill you actually have a phone with it? I dont need a camera on my phone, but by having it there, I dont need a seperate camera. |

I think I'm going to give C905 a try, the C702 did all I expected from it although it's admittedly a pretty basic phone for today's standards. Bang for the buck though!

To be honest, sony as a whole company seem to be on the downfall for me. They are losing market share, their Playstation range isnt doing well, and the last sony product I bought was an X-black PC monitor many years ago. I dont watch or use TV or Hi-fi systems, all my multimedia use is within my PC and Phone, and I dont see a single product from either Sony or that interests me. As far as multi product tech companies go, for me both Samsung and LG are ahead of Sony. Samsung have already made a great impact on me in the PC market - I will only ever buy and use Samsung hard drives because they are silent and reliable. Plus I had to RMA one of my Spinpoint harddrives, and they both tested and posted my replacement in under 24 hours, and my new drive arrived 2 days after I sent mine back. Now I cant compare that to other major manufacturers because it was the only time I used a manufacturers RMA service, but I was so impressed that I want to only buy Samsung hard drives now.
Oh yea, I sent my K850i back to and they told me 'pay £40 to have it rehoused before we fix it, theres a crack on the back'. I dont care about the damn crack or worn out D Pad, I can rehouse it myself if needed - but the damn bluetooth and camera button dont work and they refuse to even look at it unless I paid the £40 for a rehouse. So its not just bad quality products from , its also a terrible warranty cover and service. This was also within my 2 year warranty. |

@Bhavv: On your long long long posts you only talk about the lack of innovation from SE, how bad your K850 and T700 are and how good LG is, do you have anything really "useful" to say in this thread? I mean come on this is a C901 discussion thread, no another of the very common SE complain and bashing thread!!
On topic
Anyone have seen live pics somewhere? I want lo see how it looks in "real"
(Sorry for my english)

Just because I am not praising or worshiping the C901 doesnt mean that my input is not useful. I have already stated that the C901 is a underspecified and bad product from , everything else I mention are simply reasons for why I think this and also why is failing as a company. This is a valid discussion, if you dont like it then you can simply ignore my posts and continue to admire such a deficient product. I see nothing wrong with criticism of a company that is falling far behind the standard they used to be at 2 years ago. It would be even better if actually listened to the complaints from their dying fan base, but they continue to ignore us, and as a result their sales will continue to fall.
This is the first time in 5 years that there is not one product out by that appeals to me, I mean, if Nokia actually have phones that I like for once, and doesnt, there is something very wrong.

To be honest the units in the live pics look a bit cheap, but those could be changed in the retail version. And they could be real hits if the prices are below 200-250 EUR SIM-free (which is impossible I think).

The C901 has a double-flash a la C905/K850. A xenon for pictures and a triple LED for videos. I must say both of them come quite in handy.

Just realised, LEDs sit under the lens cover - so no Light/torch function?? Shame if so...C902's the same......
