That's exactly the point; too much exposure has been made about Israel's atrocities. Palestine has always been positioned as victims because they have always had a dumb government, a weaker military and suicide bombers (Hamas) in their fold.

Israel finally decided for a cease-fire in Gaza, but i think the damage has been done. 1200 dead majority of which are civilians which include woman and children. Hamas on the other hand, is saying that it will not tolerate any Israeli soldier in Gaza.

I really do hope Israel gets tried for war crimes but i doubt that will ever happen as america will no doubt back them up as usual.

UN is calling for a legal action against Israel for bombing the UN school used as refugee camps.
Lets wait and see how that goes. To be honest, for past 21 days and on many other occasions, I did not understand what's the point of having a UN when no one listens to it and does whatever they want to. All the UN does is talk, talk, talk and no action .. but that's just my opinion.

Yeah the UN doesnt mean jack these days infact it never did. All they do is moan now and again. But at least Israel has agreed a ceasefire.

Thats very true peter and israel has already mentioned that the ceasefire will end once hamas fires a single rocket so i doubt we will see and end to this anytime soon.
israel seems to be looking for excuses to continue their killings.

I think Israel has a right to defend themselves as well but to be honest both are as bad as each other. If Hamas only occupied one area then they could fight openly with the Israeli forces but they hide in houses and fire from homes so what choice are Isreal left to attack them?
The way these kids get brought up in Palestine as well they are being bred to kill and think to kill only. It's sickening and its only going to lead to a circle of violence which will last generations imo.

Sorry for sitting oin the fence here.
But Isreal deserves to be a state, and repected as land. The countries around them should respect that from now on Isreal is a Jewish state in between them all, and they ll have to get along.
With all due respect, I understand that Palestines are angry at the loss of their homeland but their is plenty of other Muslim countries in the world.
isreal is the only Jewish state snd after the events off WW2 I think it is needless to say there is a need for a jewish state, governed by jewish people and defended by the jewish.
Not saying this is a relgious war, just that it is Muslim states defending another Muslim state.
and No. Isreal is not in the right, I do NOT support this movement into gaza atall.
What i mean to dsay really is that Hamas should stop attacking Isreal, isreal is here to stay. Israel should agree more peace treatys.
Just thought i'd share my view, im not usre if all my facts are correct though, only have limited knowledge of this type of thing.

Sorry Peter didnt mean to sound like that but I dont need to as I have been there and see it for myself so I know exactly what I am talking about. I was shocked the first time I saw school children singing songs the way I did.
I suppose though if I was living there and people all around me were dying id be livid as well.
It's sad that they cannot co-exist. It will be interesting to see what stance Obama takes on this when he comes into power properly. I doubt the US will keep throwing wads of money at Isreal after this.
