hey... my phone give me another headache,
suddenly it refuse to recharge the battery when charger is plugged in.
"Battery cannot be charged. You must use a Sony Ericsson Battery"
The same thing happened when I put C901 battery into C702, it cannot be charged..
But, when I put the C702 battery into C901, it can be charged normally..
So the problem is on the body, not the battery or charger..
I've tried using USB, but still do not work.

Activity menu still broken after a firmware search. (And camera led still thinks its a flashlight, but thats to much to hope for a change on i guess) |

@hitmark: I updated my girlfriend's c702 and the activity menu keeps working after looking for a new firmware. And what do you mean led thinks it's a flashlight?

Hmm, i better test a bit More then.
Tested, still fails here. Do a update search, and afterwards activity menu fails to show until phone reboot.
As for the led thing, its that it stays on while camera is active, rather then only for the moment when a photo is taken.

@hitmark: I tested it twice today and didn't get that bug with the activity menu. Regarding the led, it's not a bug. It's been like that since the K750 days.

@hitmark: It is by design, flash function in C702 is implemented with ON/OFF flash rather than Auto/OFF... It bothered me a bit when i used it, since i think that it should be auto/off, like other SE models (W705, W995)...

the funny bit about the flash is that it clearly becomes brighter the moment before the camera sound plays, so it should be able to be even less bright or even off if needed.
still, i guess there wont be a major change to that unless someone can dig something out of the camera part of the firmware.
and on the topic of firmware, have anyone noticed reboots while using the built in web browser after the last update? |

hrmf, seems my phone no longer likes hspa networks
and btw, tried to reset setting on the phone, didnt make the shortcuts menu bug go away after a firmware update scan, nor fixed the hspa issue i am now seeing.
