if this is not a new firmware they are talking about a debugging program (or a fine-adjustment program) who knows.. we'll wait and see...

they are probably not aware that there will be no more firmware releases... even if they were waiting for something else it's of no use... R520m is discontinued at so they are not selling any parts or doing any other adjustment-software for it either....

Gamba! I cheked it for secure, but it has nothing to do with your failure on phone. See, we have the same sw vers so all datas, numbers are the same too. Your phone must have upgraded wrong or this is a hw problem. Really sorry 4 u:-(, when do u go back to shop?

try to place your phone away from the monitor/speakers.... if you send a sms or make a call and hold the phone near speaker, monitor you will have the same thing... it's the GSM communication (radio waves) that interfers with the electronics in the monitor/speakers

i wish some sole in Sony Ericsson read these forums. Anyway, i have no chance except to wait. I have already changed 3 phones, also one of my friends in the department has the same problems. Besides the tech guy at the dealer checked out all the batch of shipments for a properly working unit (if he is telling the truth) and told me he failed to find one . What a funny business... they will make me switch back to Nokia again :{

Cytech! U r an expert, as i know it is possible to clear totally a phone and put a new sw on it. Maybe that would solve gamba's problem, if not the hw is guilty.

you can do a total reset and then flash it again... but I doubt it will solve the problem....

Cytech! Do agree with u, see, i don't get how can a shop 3 times in a row give wrong phone. Why don't they start to check their phones after the 2. case? Weird[:]

are you sure? T39, which uses the exact same firmware, have 4+1, and in all (newer) spec. for R520 states it has 4+1.... but sure... it can be just 3+1... haven't tested....
