Does anyone know (for sure) which UK network is getting the P800 out first.

I have heard rumours that it is Orange but my money is on Voda.

@ZuluWarrior

Just out of interest, what were main problems with SPV?

I have been waiting so long for the P800 that I have also been considering an spv especially as I have a 256MB SD card doing nothing.

Yeah, anyone know the prices if when getting the P800 with a contract? Also anyone know anyone who works in a phones shop (in the London area) and can supply us (esato members or just me) with some discount, if i/we purchase on first day of release or with a certain traffic? Thanks for any advice/replies in advance [addsig]

Nah Orange definately won't be the first - the amount of testing for their Line 2 and stuff like that (can't remember the techy name for it) sets them back an extra couple of months at least. I would guess Voda, followed by O2, then Orange and T-Mobile a bit later on.

Question is which Voda retailer to pester.... CPW normally have a good record, but I'm with Singlepoint and I've told them very firmly to make sure I get one of their first........ Not sure how much good it will do...

I've been hearing (and hoping) a lot about a 12th of January release, but does anyone one know which shop/store is going to get it by this date? I might sell my T68i and make some extra money for the P800, or keep it and use them both as i have 2 sims. How much do you think i might/should get for it? I still have 7 months warranty and also have 2 batteries, the MP3 player and a extra handsfree. Or should i just get a MCA-25 and wait till the p800 is down in price and get it then?

Im going to sell my t68 as soon as i get it fixed. And the spv got through because it is oranges flagship smart phone, and they wanted to get it out before anythink else

It is? Where? I was in Semicon in Powerplant the other day and they didn't even have a dummy to show me. Not in Glorietta or Greenbelt could I spot one in any of the stores I saw.

Cheers

went in the carphone warehouse in ormskirk at lunch, "sorry, i havnt heard of a p800" she said, and its in the front of the f**kin buyers guide,

Anyway, carphonewarehouse received the nokia 3510i this morning, and i just checked my e-mail, and i got one from cpw yesterday saying it would be released today, that was the same with nokia 7210,6110 and some motorola.

so if you pre- register on the coming soon section, they should tell us the day before it comes out, and if you pre register its first come first serve type thingy, so you can phone up and buy it or get it sent to your local store.

s.e told me no confirmation of date, phones4u said feb, orange said late march
