Haha,
It has a 'Semi-English menu' - but i'm lucky enough to know Japanese lol - so its all fully JPN for me (^_^*)
Oh and here is a full size Crop (@ 640x480) and the Original picture...pretty impressive....

Lovely pics indeed, as expected from a Sony (one and) only product.
Your SO905iCS looks somewhat like the next-gen big brother of the golden white W850i design-wise. Congrats on your excellent choice.
An off-topic query, though, since you'll be Nihon-bound it will be Champion's League Premiership quarter finals via satellite for you I suppose?
However, a stay in Japan is quite a satisfying consolation prize for the absence from the Emirates. Enjoy it!
Cheers!

I'll be out there for a while - about four months to begin with - its a Global Design Project, should be fun!
I didnt pay for it - as yet (lucky me eh)!
One of my dear friends in Japan, who are eagerly awaiting my arrival lol - got it for me - as you need to be a Japanese Citizen to get a JPN Contract!
@razec
I'll be checking that out soon I hope - providing one of my friends has it - we'll see how it goes, most of them are on SoftBank (former Voda customers lol) - and DoCoMo - very few on KDDI, if any - last time there were like two of my friends on KDDI, see how many now lol!
Yep lucky you, leaving the uk for 4 months and getting a phone that wont even be out anywhere except there lol
has the phone just came out over there?
you said you went to CPW showing off
what the heck did they say about it lol

awesome phone, however, i can't think of losing my xenon flash on k850i, wouldn't do without it. screen is huge.
Offtopic slightly, could the bravia phone recieve live tv with out using the internet (satelite, digital?) |

Those are something we still never seen on any camera phone out here. just look at the macro on the last picture on his post. the background of the photo is so blurred and the focused subject was given so much emphasis. the true color quality of SO905iCS just slapped the face of N95/N82's oversaturation gimmick GSMArena should have and review that phone, to make up their minds into reality

You know, thats a Good point lol! From a Sony Product, never ones to let us down old Sony (^_^*)!
True, both handsets appearances do meet somewhat, although I'd like to see the build quality from the 905i come to our non JPN Sony Ericssons...
Yep, means CL Final is via the 'net for me, with all my Uni friends at my other halfs Tokyo Flat lol - always fun hehe - especially when they all support Man Utd, and im a Gooner through and through lol - admittedly, because I hae family in Rome, Roma have always held a special place in my heart, so I'll be behind the Romans - 7-1 was crushing last year!
@Miss UK
lol, ah the life of a Design Student, Work, travel, design!
Haha, it was funny - they were all 'ooh' and 'ahh' having seen my 905i, made their N95/82 look somewhat anaemic - then again - it could be said mine is more like a K850i on Steroids lol!
My old Colleagues at Orange were overly impressed, especially with the Smile Shutter - very impressive - and the 3x Optical Zoom, blew them away!
Most of them put their N95's back in their fluffy tissue laden pockets...lol!
@harry20larry
Yeah, true - I do miss my Xenon, it would be the PERFECT addition to this amazing handset...
The BRAVIA handset, the SO903iTV would not work on anything other than Japan's own 'oneSEG' transmission, which totally sucks - unafir of you ask me!!
@razec
I'd agree 110% pf the way, I dont care its a bit bulkier than most European Handsets - the technology packed in is something else!
I have more samples on the way guys, look out for it!

The colors are vivid, so nice to see the reds not turning to pink like what K850 did with it's images. have you tried capturing water droplets from faucet mate?
one more, can you also post those lovely pics on the dedicated camera gallery thread. so far you only posted one - i want more (sorry for being too demanding )

Haha,
Its 905i Pics galore, I reckon we will see this quality fully surpassed by the K850i Successor, as Sony Ericsson Hopefully will not make the same mistakes as the K850i - after all, it was based on A200, and as many have said, was a 'Beta' for many things...

Hey Guys, here is an interesting comparison - The images are as follows, Top) SO905iCS, Middle) K800i, Bottom (For comparison) Sony DSLR Alpha A100 with 18-70mm Sony Lens.
All the pics were resized to VGA, and then cropped - expectedly, the Alpha offers superior results, but the SO905iCS (Initial Release FW) beats the K800i at latest FW (R8BF003)...
And the red colours are vibrant!

OK, you've shown us some lovely pictures. But what I want to see is some low light picture, both close and far, with no flash. This is where most cam phones fail. My K850's problem, noise, my k800's problem, suppy easily blurred.
I wanna see some love! |
