Ok i just got a new replacement P1i from 02 and this is my firmware:-
Phone: CXC 162037 R9H004
Bluetooth: CXC 162143 R1D
Organizer: CXC 162108 R6E30
CDA: CDA 162024/9 R12A
Is this the previous firmware before the one in this thread came out?
How can you tell how old the firmware is as the SE site just gives you the info whether there is a newer one out?
Also is it a case of if your not having any problems dont upadte or should you always update?
Oh yeah last question what is SEUS people are talking about, im completely lost lol |

When I'm using Opera 8.65, the text (mainly hyperlinks, but not always) is displayed in white on a red backdrop; like my theme (horizon).
Anyone else who's noticed this? More importantly, any thoughts on how to fix it? It's rather annoying... |

No it isn't. R9J005 was the previous one. There's still a thread about it around here somewhere.

Well, you really can't by using the SE site. SEUS (see below) will tell you if there is new firmware, but you need to go through the whole shutting-down-your-phone-holding-the-c-key-and-connect-the-usb-cable process.
Best you just check this Wiki: http://uiq3.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/CDA/P1i

"Don't fix what isn't broken" is the motto I suppose. Then again, there are usually more bug fixes than new bugs when you update. Me personally, I always upgrade when I can.

That's the Sony Ericsson Update Service. You can find it on the SE site, when you go to "Support" page.
Hope that helps!

Do not use the phone firmware version on this subject...the important part is the ORGANIZER...so, the new one is R6G04, the old one was R6F41

Yes, I updated February 7.
I think it´s only for CDA 162022/1 so far.

Also suffering from the '4' bug btw but I fix it by toggling the display quickly (using the '#' button) and that refreshes the icon, displaying the correct one afterwards...
Or you can press the shutter half way, that refreshes the screen too and seems a bit more convenient to me.
