@c_vignesh

The display is 176x220 and not 128x160... It was an error in the press release (still is) but on the phone's specs page it's now updated...

Edit:

W350's Display
Resolution- 176x220
Size- 1.9"
Colors- 262k

Remember guys and girls, this is a W350, it's in the 3-series bracket, making it a cheap affordable phone.

I expect they may bring the design idea to some higher end phones later down the line.
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for.

never touch a low end phone with a barge pole

"BTW, is this the first non-smartphone flip?"
the Z models

1. You're one of the few who think that way. Personally, I love the design.
2. Not everyone is so fortunate to be as wealthy as you are.
3. Flip and clamshell are 2 different form factors, you know.

@goosebuffz:

1. I agree with you. I don't like the design. I see it as cheap and tacky. But this is my opinion and other people's opinions may vary. We see it in many phones and other devices. K810i is one that I recall divided opinion about. Its up to the person whether or not they like it.
2. While the high-end phone seems to be popular with everyone on Esato, Esato is not a good reflection of the population. Low-end phones sell in huge numbers dues to their low price and the fact that not everyone wants the latest and greatest and most expensive phones. Most people who buy a phone are not well informed and will go for what is cheap and what looks good.
3. All good mate. We all make mistakes

Hahaha...

Did Sony Ericsson COPY a Chinese fake COPY of a NOKIA?!

Have a look at the NOKLA N90, a N95 copy...

Note the flip. It works the exact same way as the W350i's flip here... The main phone controls are on the outside of the flip and the keypad is on the inside.

With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA
