Of course you are right but one is 2-3 years old and one just released and still uses the same processor from when the P990 was announced, still no DSP or HSDPA either never mind the limited bands.
Try comparing it to a N series device realeased about the same time and the only unique selling feature is a Touchscreen that's it, everything else the N95 8Gb absolutely slaughters the W960 spec wise and i do mean everything. Oh sorry for some the Walkman 3 interface but really you select an Album or make a playlist who after that looks at their device whilst listening to it and why would anyone want to?
I think even Album Art is little more than a gimmick and is hardly a make or break feature IMO. but hey if you want an SE Walkman device and a Touchscreen and are happy to pay so much for so much old repackaged spec's that your choice. But please trying to claim it has superior spec's is just a joke and not supported by a single fact. To whoever said well it has a Fast port to 3.5mm jack well nearly all phones do so i really can't see how you can compare that to a built in jack either.

Wow a 2-3 year old device is beaten by a Flagship product so long later try comparing a N95 8GB to it then and see what happens comparing two devices realeased in the same quarter and what happens then.

i do not care whether a phone is a flagship model or not, i only care about features, designs and UI. I think n91 wasn't that good but i think nokia made an huge progress with models like n73, n82, n95, n95 8GB and their Xpress series! |

The N91 is 2yearsold now and back then SE didn't have anything that matched it, and when they did try they made the W950 which was also ripped to shreds by N91 and N91-8GB just like how N95-8GB totaly beats W960, hey history has repeated itself!

Whilst i can appreciate you may not of liked the look or design of the N91 when it was released it established the benchmark by which all other Music phones where measured.
As sonically it simply was the best which one would of thought was the most important feature for a Music phone. If you wish to choose a music phone by UI that is of course your choice but seems a rather foolish one as opposed to Music quality which must be the most relevant factor.

Sorry, but i didn't think you read what i said: I said that features, design and UI are all important for me, but features are of course the most important indeed
you are right about that it would be foolish to choose UI as the most important fator when looking for a music-minded phone, and that's why i have my good old n95, because it does everything and it does it very well, and many manufactures haven't even come up with a phone that can compare with n95, even though the annoucement was a year ago |

@Dogmann
When listening to your music with headphones on your n95 8gb, how do you recieve/make calls? Do you have to remove head set? I thoroughly enjoy not having to with my fastport connection/3.5mm jack/in-line mic. I also hook into my AUX in my car, clip mic to vent and I have a handsfree and music when I've left my ipod in other cars, or if I've forgotten my bluetooth. Built-in 3.5mm jack is very overrrated IMO. Is there a cover for 3.5mm jack on the nokias? Phone spends alot of time in my pocket. Wondering if it could be a lint trap. |

why is all the photo and video only show the phone off? Anyone really turn on the phone and try the walkman UI? |

Can we just leave Nokia out of this topic? and just concentrate on W960i.
I actually have ordered one W960i and for me it an't all about the specs, it's also how do you put them together and of course style is very important too.
There is also English userguide in the web:

Mine is with operator contract where the phones part was 25/month(24month contract)
Without the contract price would be less than 600, but that is just estimate price.
And this was from Finland
