I dont remeber people complaining about the k800 when that first came out, every one loved it. Hopefully SE look at its faults and quickly release new firmware

@KingBooker5

Most people did love it right up to the point that it would no longer turn on and just blink the red LED that then required a trip to an SE service Centre to have the EROM flashed as they were all faulty. Once this was fixed and the newer batches come with the new EROM it was indeed a great camera phone but the first batches all had this problem as mentioned in the numerous K800 threads.

yeah, I had this problem with the EROM with my K800i, it happened 1 year after I bought it, so I guess I was lucky, funny thing was, that the problem occured on the same day I bought my P1i.
Ofcourse, i managed to fix it myself.

well maybe k800 was a huge leap from the K series.

just want to confirm: k850 has both the xenon flash AND the flash light bulb, correct? Because in SE specs, it only shows the xenon flash

kupsman yes it has a 3LED light for video recording (which is very good IMO) along with the xenon flash. My only gripe with the phone so far is when setting a photo as the wallpaper the quality is terrible. Is this just another firmware problem? Also, are videos supposed to come up in the camera album? Because for some reason in the camera album they are stamped with a date 11 hours in the future, but if I go into videos > information it displays the correct recorded date. Anyone else experience this?

I've noticed the W910i has some bugs in the current firmware version on my phone as well.

but then it wont be long till SE releases firmware updates for both the K850 and the W910.

I've been hearing good things about the K850i. the only problem i've read is the flash issue, but that will be solved soon im sure =D
