LinkBoy 1.30 has been released. Major new features are:
- Flip closed mode support with full operation via keypresses.
- Three independent sets of shortcuts, each containing up to 15 icons (45 in total).
- Active shortcut types that let you
... see the next upcoming calendar or alarm item,
... see memory status,
... stick arbitrary notes on the screen.
- Function shortcut types to display another shortcut set, hide the icon panel, and set options.
- Enhanced customization of icon panel appearance.
- Ability to have invisible shortcuts that let you see all the wallpaper, while still allowing to execute assigned shortcuts.
1.30 is a free trial for everyone and free upgrade to registered users. Enjoy!

how long does the free trial last? thanks
the program is great, i have one problem though, it says insufficient memory when i change all the icons, how do i solve this? and sometimes maybe due to low memory when i open the flip, some of the icons go back to default ... any ideas to prevent it? thanks in advance!
btw, the insufficient memory message appears even if i have just restarted and have around 8-9mb ram... |

how long does the free trial last? Two weeks.
it says insufficient memory when i change all the icons You probably use some huge custom images and/or contact pictures. Try changing the icons back to the default one by one to determine which one(s) cause the problem, or use the Shortcuts/Reset command.

thanks for the quick reply, really appreciate it... i'm using png icons, some are 30kb in size, but mostly are just 7kb... in one instance i was able to finally squeeze in 9 new icons, while 3 are default, everything was fine in FC mode, but when i open the flip, about 2-3 of the icons revert to their default, and when i go back to FC, its a hit and miss, sometimes the new icons return sometimes they are in default... |

Unfortunately the above is not currently possible due to lack of documentation for the necessary system functions.

As a reminder:

@BUSTTER
LinkBoy absolutely fills it's purpose and eats basically only 0,5RAM, so what you describe is probably a different problem,
also, it's a really helpful icon/shortcuts app,
not a designers platform
Your design is nice but has nothing to do with LinkBoy usability,
it's rather a designers expression,
from my personal point of view in terms of usability it looks like a complete mess |

I tryed the 1.40 version.
I have the same issue (with P1i) , black or grey background.
The "preview" is fine in the program, but not in Today view.
I tryed (settings) checking "adapt to theme" but same thing.
Strange thing is that just before it goes to screensaver, I actually see that the linkboy's background goes to "transparency" correctly (sometimes) ! but when I tap on screen to wake up, I have the grey color back
The background goes from light grey to full black according to the changes I mage to the ""transparency" slide in linkboy (makes sense it they use black as a mask value).
Here is an example:

A small proportion of P1 users experience the transparency problem with LinkBoy as described above. Unfortunately so far it was impossible to determine the reason. Please contact our support by Email if you think you can help delimiting the problem.
