fisio 820? No Java, no polys, no tri-band either. No competition!

I would say that the T68 was and to a degree is still ahead of the field in the mobile market. There are phones that can better it in certain fields, but be rational, as a complete package there is VERY little on the market place that competes, never mind better the T68.
99% of the market look for these features in a mobile, size, weight, looks, colour screen (looks neat), ease of use and more recently Poly ring and TXT/MMS support, and they really dont care about bluetooth, and many other predomianatly business oriented features. The good thing about the T68 is it fills all of the above features and is at a reasonable selling price.
Now there are a few phones on the market that can compete with the T68, and there is one that many of you overlook, the Siemens S55. This phone is essentially a T68 with the 'missing' features added, these being Poly ring, Java support the inclusion of the camera in the box (which is also a Flash camera!). Couple this to a very accessable price point and they might have a real winner on there hands.

@gadgetboytom who said
"Which one of those has Wap 2.0 and full bluetooth support? not to mention syncl ml (not 7650) "
Well the 3650 does- even better (and XHTML).
Anyone would think this was a T68i forum- it seems its all people have. Dont get me wrong, its a great phone!
The 3650 in my opinion is going to be simply a gem of a phone! |

@hurny, in all fairness this IS a SE forum & until a few days ago when the p800 came out t68i was the SE flagship, it`s the reason most of us came here. but i know what you mean, it`s like ignorant english people who say that all aussies were criminals, thrown out of the UK for bad behavior (best not read the english papers for a couple of days) i think thats awfull. |

Now I own a GD87 but I tell you, theres nothing yet like a T68 I believe that a T68 with a screen like the Pana an java could be the ultimate mobile, P800 maybe, but is bigger and heavier, still T68 is the best around, so small, so light and so complete

I have them both too. Although t68 is in my heart ( because of so much discussion about or maybe of the upgrade which changed totally the phone) I have to say that gd87 is equally good. Feature wise, it has no bluetooth ( I don't need it in present time) but it has many plusses. |

Well, as I understand a "gem" is some kind of stone. Stone is a kind of rock. And therefore, you might say it's a gem No, honestly. To me the 3650 looks like a hell of a completely misguided designer who thought he was making a remote control with tft display... |
