the joypad is 100% better and easier to use than the joystick on the e61...
plus i gotta add my typing is much much quicker on the newly spaced keys!!!
plus it feels a lot smaller and lighter than the e61 even though its only v.slightly smaller lol.. |

nope its really easy to press actually... not too easy but easy enough... definately NOT hard to press lol...
Heres some pics of the new active standby plugins... lol.
Without recieving anything...
When u recieve a txt the plugin pops a little reminder on the active standby instead of pop up message!!! It stays there until u click on it to read!
Some of the options available in the plug ins option...
This feature leaves space for other apps on the active standby screen... Which i think is genius! And this is going to only b available on E series nothing else!... Not even the N95 has it lol...

Hi all,
Well i have now had my E61 for just under 24hrs and all i can say is WOW, I have joined the Boba 16m colour screen fan club.
Setup as expected was very quick and easy as inserting the Sim it downloads all Network settings, a quick trip to the Nokia Phone Configurator and E-mail is up and running. I am using the same 2gb card from the N93 as the new one i have is faulty so all my Documents, Pictures, Video and Music is here and working. The build quality is excellent and Jon has agreed that it is indeed made of Mag alloy.
I must admit to being pleasantly surprised that although it has a slower processor than the N93 it is every bit as fast and appears to actually have more free RAM. The keypad is amazing easily the best i have used on any device just so tactile smooth and easy to use. Music and Video playback is still excellent and no perceivable loss of quality from the N93 which has shocked me slightly. I just wish i had got one of these earlier is my only regret as i may have not bothered with the N93 then.
Below is a screen shot of the Turquoise theme the only one i have installed so far but the other apps i am running are Handy Taskman, Handy Clock, In device search, Wellness Diary, Scrnshot, and later will be installing Tom Tom 6 as i think this screen is far better suited. I may even sell my N93 now and purchase a dedicated camera for pictures.

Hi Boba,
As i said really i am blown away it's just awesome no other way to describe it, it is fast stable and just works it also just feels so good to hold a really tactile device IMO. Data entry is just so easy i have actually decided i am definitely going to sell my N93 and the SU-8W Keyboard and just buy a Sony Camera after using the E61 there is just no going back. The screen is just so big and clear this is a great device in fact so much so i am no longer even tempted by the forthcoming E90 so buying the E61 and selling the N93 and no longer even wanting the E90 is saving me a fortune.
