But you think it would be very possible to go to the ned with the p800 using the ISP on your computer right?
I am sure I read something about that somewhere..

Whoa really? There's a way to set IP via Bluetooth? I've only been able to do Dial-up and GPRS so far. My P800 is coming in next Weds so I can't check that until I get it. I remember there was a away for Pocket PCs to do it but that was specified only in Pocket PC 2002. |

Yeah, that should be possible. I've read about some guys who connected their 7650 to their ADSL connection on their PC through bluetooth using the WebViewer browser. I'm gonna try it out too when I get my BT adapter.
And I've also read about a remote control app for the P800 which lets you control everything on your PC from your P800. I'll try to hunt down the link 'bout it...

I ordered mine directly from Sony Ericsson. They told me that I would get it by wednesday. I originally checked out Ebay but almost everything there seemed shady. I decided to wait for a commercial version. After a while, I realized that I needed more software and decided to get CodeWarrior as well. SEMC has a complete kit that they sell to SW developers so I picked it up.
Raven, thanks for the link. I heard about Remote Control from Bitween. I don't think you can connect Remote Control via Bluetooth though. It's kind of like a PC Anywhere program where you can dial in to your home PC and control it.

Remote Control gives you the potential to control your PC directly from your device from any connection: modem, mobile phones or wireless connection.
that means connecting it to a dsl connection doesnt it? |

Just that the Bond movie came out last night, the P800 was seen by mainstream America and not just Gaget GearHeads like ourselves. I am just curious to see how the American public reacts to seeing the phone for sale. Everyone goes to Ebay for that new thing they just saw in the movies.
