Being a Man, i like this phone. The looks are good and the buttons are different to any other so far. Only if it was a bit thinner.

Its no different from a lot of SE phones. The design grows on people after the initial shock lol. Se needs this to carry the baton from the K800 which is just peaking now.
Its definitely different. Its a bold design and slightly improved.

only the camera shutter looks real good ...

it's really nifty how they incorporated it into the housing (this time )

wonder if anybody will dare mod a k810 camera shutter in the k800

yes I'm waiting for sofia, but I have to say, I like the K800 abilities, but the looks of K810 are much better imho. So I am tempted, more so than I was with the K800. It looks great, and they solved the stupid massive camera shutter problem. I also like the fact they have retained the joystick, and that the 1, 4, 7, and * keys light up. Very nifty.

The keys are georgeous.

I'm getting the feeling that this phone is not the real upgrade of the K800i, just don't look right to me. I think the real upgrade hopefuly will be the K850i like the W850i is to the W800i.

Edit: Espeacially there's nothink new on the K810i to upgrade to.

those round buttons on a keypad are significant improvement over K800 rectangular ones, for one, it makes writing text messages a lot easier without accidentally pressing 2 keys at once.
second, they separated internet shortcut and activity menu shortcut from softkeys, which was VERY good idea, since pressing softkey a lot of times lead to activating internet browser, i can just imagine people with chubby fingers trying to type up a message on their K800 and how difficult it must be for them. (and sometimes for others that do not have sausage fingers lol)

so keypad layout is a definite improvement over K800.

IMHO there may be a problem with dust and dirt getting into that recess for the camera slider... no such recess on the K800.

Liking the keypad, but I'll have to see one before I ditch my K790a (and wait for an 850 band version).

Also.. I like that silver curve on the K800. =]

the steel/chrome get-up or watever it is sure looks good
the recess for the shutter is pretty neat
