No 3G but does have EDGE and WIFI. I would have prefered 3G with HSDPA personally but you cant be too picky.

I'm not really a fan of touchscreens, but if they say it's a screen that doesnt leave fingerprints, then it's ok, but what really bugs me is why didn't they show that 2 MP camera, because you can't see it on the pictures, and they put it in Technical Specifications, as you can see!

As much as I think it is cool, I wont be getting one. I am not to bothered about 4GB memory as I rarely listen to music on my phone. I also like the 3MP on my K800i and dont really want to take a step back to 2MP as I use the camera quite a lot. I also use the video call function on my K800i and the iPhone doesnt have that.
I am sure though that next year there will be a %mp and 3G version of the iPhone that will be a bit more tempting.

its pretty cool how you unlock it. and it also ignors taps on the screen by mistake. My p800 always used to go on to the internet by mistake because the internet button got tapped in my poket,

its slim and has a special way of input. that are its only special features.
we have 2 big events ahead before this apple phone hits the US.
and a hole year before its starts selling the in the EU for a way to high price.
i'm 100% confident their will be a better phone introduced by SE or even nokia.
and don't forget about its battery life, it doesn't look smashing. and we don't know how strong the screen is.
its okay to seen young people go crazy about this, but i also see some older people going crazy, and that makes me feel sad, haven't you guys learned anything yet?
as long as it hasn't hit the market nothing is surtain, and when it hits, reviews will tell how good it really is.
no i don't hate apple, i think its good to see extra competition to stop the rise of windows mobile.

after the hype settles, we are going to see that the iphone is more or less an expensive smartphone, with the best interface ever created for a handheld
i think that we should see this objectiv, this phone has nothing that the other manufactors can't achieve till 4Q 2007
in the first year of the iphone, its only going to be targeted at hardcore gadget freaks, people are not used to pay so much for a phone, there are going to be other brands with quite the same specs but cheaper
if you brake the product down into pieces, you are going to see that the sony ericsson w950, has nothing to fear from the iphone
the true selling point of the iphone, is that it is easy to navigate
the only thing they have to watch out, is apple's way of marketing
the UIQ doesn't have to fear the OS X which is in the iphone(all in all, its also just a striped down version of the original), tune the navigation and make it easier to operate + get some office applications with it and an awesome design - bang - iphone killer

It looks OK.
This is a interesting device imo.
Not a  or Nokia killer though.
Remember and Nokia are old companies that knows their stuff about phoning, Apple is not.
It will be interesting to see what this phone can do irl, bugs, features, usability etc.
Atm, for me, this phone is more hype than something else...
Also remember that Apple releases this as a first device in this market and want's to make a big deal out of it, while and Nokia have been slow in the upgrades of teir handsets b/c of profits.
I hope the announcement of the iPhone speeds things up a bit. |

Is this little black dot a 2MP camera, if it is then I sure won't get this, I mean it's too tiny, and no flash. No way!

i think the people from SE and nokia can sleep without any problems.
the N95 will hit the market sooner then expected and SE won't rush its new symbian phones.
an iphone is mainly for apple fans.

Apple do have a habit of delivering quality products that are polished and very usable to human beings. The competition have lost this already, and they only just got word there was a new player in town =)
Although other companies are able to provide these features they havent come out with a thin portable device of this calibre, this new gadge IS so many things, and supported by the FULL Mac OS X operating system! |

i was thinkin that and yer i think its the camera. also the front on the fone is black and the back is white? dont think that looks very good.
