I'm on the o2 Leisure time plus tarrif and they dont charge u a penny. And GPRS is free until end of jan anyway. then after that its something like a penny a page. Just call them up and press the button for "other" then say "hi i was told u could actiave mms for me" - dont mention GPRS cos it confuses them. they will activate mms for u, which includes the gprs actiavtion.

@ allalone

Thanks for that, just called and they said they will activate it within 24 hours. Miffed though as had to pay £1 extra and go on a new tariff to get it. I'm already paying £35 per month for 250 xnet calls and 50 text!

@ Gadgetboytom - thanx for your mms re 'Earth' - just realised that u can't save mms pictures into 'my pictures' to use as a background (and they are a bit smaller)

Can't find this background on wap for download either

thanx again - Scoobydoo

Forward the MMS of the earth background to an eamil address, acces the amil online, save the picture onto your pc, go to www.mister-i.com and use the image converter, put the image into it, tell it to email it to u, access the link given in the email on way, save the picture to your phone. - damn im good.

That was meant to say access it on Wap, not Way. Cheers.
Oh and the answer to my question about why cant i send certain meldoies via mms is becuase there are two different file types you can have on your phone. one u can send via IR and Bluetooth and the other u can send in MMS and SMS too.

@ allalone.. thanks for the link - looks like a handy site. Unfortunately I can't get certain areas of the site through my firewall (it thinks it's porno stuff! ). i only have a security configured company laptop - bit of a bugger eh! Must get myself a decent home pc soon

thanx anyway mate
