Quickshare was dropped by SE a while ago now. Prototypes/engineering samples made before this would have the Quickshare logo, more recent prototypes or production ready test models could well have the newer P990i sticker. Basically if the phone has a Quickshare sticker it is defnitely a prototype, but just because one has the newer P990i sticker it doesn't mean it is definitely a production variant. | |

I'm sorry to double-post this but it might be better to ask this here:
I wonder if Wayfinder will work on p990. If you want to check and test you can find a trial-version that work for 5 days on http://www.wayfinder.com.
If anyone with the p990 wants and has the time to test and se I would really want to hear the results.

What is the build quality of your device like? the original poster says his is not built that well and the battery cover keeps comming off (Do SE never listen to our complaints!)

And...according to Michal Jerz's (my-symbian.com) the latest P990 firmware has just been finalised as he'll be getting his review device in a few days...so perhaps all the early reports of bugs may not reflect retail versions when they hit the shops |

All previous software on P910i, P900 and P800 will not work with the P990, because of the new operating system and the integrated security. The software has to be rewritten/modified.

Ok, now the first signs of using a not right quality for the phone.
the LOCK KEY on the side is now starting to stay where it is pushed , I mean when you pull it then it will not come back.
How can anyone believe this , how SE is using such BAD QUALITY.
Believe it or not but I am thinking for a W950 or W850 if I can find one before anybody else. Wish for me all.THANX
