Hi, noob alert!
This looks like a useful tool...if I ever had a hope of getting it to work.
Looking at some of the instructions, am I correct in assuming that if you have a K750i you need to flash it to a W800 before FAR will connect?

No... that's not correct.. you don't have to.. But that's one of the things you can do with far.

Since my above post I have managed to get FAR to connect successfully with my K750i (yay for me).
However, when I click on FS to enter the filesystem (I presume) of the phone there are no directories listed. I think another member posted the same thing on this thread, that happened to them. I will go and check if someone replied to him with some answers.
It will be a real disappointment if my phone is not compatible.

why u said it is not simple. far has made us our existance better than ever. u need the SEFP, a dcu-60 and a k750/w800 cid 36 and it's done.

Hey guys.. I have a problem... my w550i shows only this in FS... how can I re-write the soft for it? Where do I get it? (and not necesarely for w550i... any soft that will bring my phone to life will be welcomed)
this FAR make also the flashing?
