@adhussain
my call clarity is fantastic, now that I have been using the M600 for a while I think it is better then my Nokia 9500 which I always considered to be very good.
I think you should try yo reflash with a fully charged battery and don't be tempted to stop the flashing process because its taking a while.
Do you use a GSM or 3G/GSM network?

I've had this complaint from the first phone call on the M600. I did a firmware update on a fully charged battery yesterday and did'nt stop the process, the sound is still not at par with my P910 or P900. GSM network.

Excuse my ignorance but what would happen if a battery was 75% or 50% charged and not 100% charged during a firmware upgrade? I understand the risk if the phone loses all power during a firmware upgrade but isn't 75% capacity enough to sustain a charge for a firmware upgrade?
Thanks |

yes from experience 75% is okay. But remember to charge using the mains supply, USB charging only works well if you are conntected directly to a USB port of a PC not using a battery (ie not a laptop).

Thanks Jah...wasn't sure if I was missing something.
Another feature I have seen pictures of but can't seem to find on my M600i is how to view in landscape mode--anyone come across this? |

Or, just tap and hold anywhere in the browser and you get a popup where you can select fullscreen and/or landscape mode. |

I stick to my earlier post regarding bugs that still exist. But the phone restart issue is worse than I thought. It restarts every 5-8 hours. not necessarily while doing anything. It even restarts in my pocket. This with R3A |

Can you tell us what 3rd party apps you use.
Do you use scheduled email download? With POP3 or IMAP
Do you use ActiveSync with the push capability?
How much RAM do you normally have available when you load all the usual apps?
Do you use video a lot or plays games a lot?

Yup you can answer and dismiss the call by pressing the jogdial. I woner why they didnt do that in the first place.

@Matthias:
I have exactly the same problem, 3mail isn't working with "idle imap" after upgrading to r3a.

But unfortunately I have now problems with my email. I am using IMAP with IMAP IDLE enabled. With R1A it works really good, but now there seems to be a problem.
I defined to download headers only. Seems to be still working. I see the header of the email. But if I am trying to open the email and to download the rest of the mail there is everytime an error message. Something like: Email is corrupt or cannot be opened.
As soon as I disable IMAP IDLE everything works as expected. Strange behavior.

1. I am just using exchange activesync push client. And a bowling game (which runs perfectly)
2. I do not use scheduled email download
3. I use activesync with push perfectly with no probs
4. I have usually 6-7 MB free
5. no video but games a little bit.
The call quality problem is annoying though. it was not there in R1B . It appeared in R3A. Also screen flickering is also there when making a call |

try to switch-off Activesync for a day as I think this may be causing your random crashes. |

You mean my random phone restarts??? I will try turning off activesync completely. although i have tried turning push email off. |

Restarts happening even after disabling activesync. I even did a fresh reboot and not run activesync at all. but the phone still rebooted while kept at my table with absolutely nothing running except contacts.
Strange??? |
