still the most versatile is the oem config (with perhaps some fps and compression tweaking), but aksd's driver will soon make stock drivers obsolete.

Modding the Camera drivers is an interesting topic. I agree with MAx_Wedge that the OEM drivers are best. When mucking around with the compression settings all I saw was an increase in file size and not much difference in picture quality. I would think that SE have got the driver pretty much at its best setting. But keep modding and see where you go. However, I would suggest when creating your own version numbers that it is not only a little vain, it is also going to end up in confusion when/if SE's version numbers catch up. Before you know it everyone will create their own version and it will be very hard to tell what's what. It would be more professional to include a comment in the driver about the author and date (if possible) or to pick a version number scheme that is not similar to SE's. Just a thought. |

so the question is....
how do you put comments inside an Assembly Language?
..::EDIT::..
OK! its the sharp (#) for putting comments

rockygali,
I was looking at your two photos above. Are you quite sure about the +2 and +1 alternatives? You probably know the higher + value should give lighter, intentional overexposure (if we follow common standard in photography), not the other way round. So, is this a typo by you, or did the display indeed show +2.0 and still exposure less than with +1.0? Seems like something is wrong, upside down, so to say...
Or are you talking about other +1/+2 than those selected by joystick as exposure compensation?
And esato is stripping the exif data away...
EDIT: -2.0 and -1.0 would make sense...
