The USA got battered, their defence were non-existant. Well done the Czechs. |

Thanks Miss Copperfield and sorry 786KBR...
I was just using the BBC quotes since it was easier than doing them myself, but if you want i'll scrap em...? I do agree though that they're not the best of quotes... maybe I will scrap em them.

There I've changed loads and I think its better now, but obviously say if i've missed something or there is something that you think should be there. Basically I'm now using quotes from FIFA while the links obviously are from BBC. I just feel that after looking, the FIFA conclusion quotes are better but the BBC have better full game summeries I think, easier to understand etc anyway.
C'MON TOGO, CROATIA AND SWITZERLAND!
Also I might like to say is that I've written 'Kickoff' times on the fixtures posts, just in case anyone gets confused and wants to watch the before game talk and stuff, which is usually 30 mins before.

SOUTH KOREA 2 - 1 TOGO
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/[....]all/world_cup_2006/4852752.stm
"Korea Republic chalk up their first-ever FIFA World Cup win outside of Asia with a spirited second-half fightback. Credit to first-timers Togo, though, for putting their pre-finals problems behind them to push the Koreans all the way."

I've watched all the matches so far and even recorded on Sky + the Australia/Japan game when I had to go out .
But the best match I've watched so far is definately the Poland/Ecuador game, Ecuador were perfectly brilliant!
The Brazil should be great and am looking forward to watching it tonight in about 30 mins...

FRANCE 0 - 0 SWITZERLAND
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/[....]all/world_cup_2006/4852856.stm
"With a point apiece, both sides will be reasonably pleased even if Korea Republic, for the time being at least, sit top of the group. It is the Koreans who are up next for France on 18 June while Switzerland - who have kept their first clean sheet in 23 FIFA World Cup matches - will tangle with Togo the day after."

missed many matches...the poland-equador , italy-ghana,mexico-iran...
but...
the Chech republics were superb...USA men were playing as if afraid of getting hurt...as the comentator said about the Chech "they really shows how football should be played"
T&T was a real surprise...stood well infront of Sweden.
Japan kids had a fluke with that shot but Aussis came back wth a bang bang bang...i enjoyed the game
Togo really deserved the game...those Korean kids had pure luck...baah
i expected more from England and France...
now gotta catch Brazil |

Brazil wins 1:0 against Croatia. Thanks to Kaka's lonely goal in the 44th. minute.
