Is the software availble in the UK....

I don't want to go and get my phone upgraded to R5A instead of R5C001.

TIA

R5A doesn't exist anymore... it should be available in UK as well...

Can anyone confirm this, has anyone in the UK had their phone upgraded to R5C001.

If so from where ?

Hi all,

I upgraded from R5A to R5C today. I must say that I didn't find any improvements in speed in neither the menues nor the SMS typing. Nor was there any noticable difference in speed when going from R2E to R5A, to my opinion. Before R2E, on the other hand, SMS typing was a lot slower.

Anyone with the same observation, or do you all think speed has improved since R2E?

I got it into my T68mi today and I don't see any real speed improvement. I'll see, if there are any speed improvement with GPRS (if this version has more timeslots) - hovewer, I don't know, if my GSM provider support more than 3 timeslots.

But I'm happy, because my volume slider was broken. Because I had some scratches on the phone, asked for the housing hange too (for fee, of course). So now I have original gray Sony Ericsson housing (with rubber battery and anthena) instead the previous T68 gray. The phone is really nice and decend (when I compare it with blue 68i)

New housing + new firmware = I have amoust new phone.
Nice day today.

Yes, I got, but now my phone has from "mi" version amber keyboard backlight only

But as I wrote, I don't see any real improvements now - but I have it only few hours.
