I was watching some TV show and they interviewed the guy who is working on the skycar project said that they might not have a fully working version until 2010 at the earliest....so seems unlikely we will see any working version soon....strange though how you can order one now from Firebox

seems like the mystery is getting deeper...This is the exact site of the google picture of the flying car and as you can see as the site is clean as a whistle so as for the theories suggested below all i can say is none of them are true unfortunately,nothing is evident at the site to suggest any of these.

yeah they are always zooming around where i am up in the hills a local guy builds them, the only problem is that they can stay in the air for very long \\. something to do with thrust problem and such. not enough power to stay in the air, only enough to get up and glide for a couple of hundred metres
