3 days ago, I lost my GPRS signal. I restart my phone like 10 times, no luck. I called up CS for like 6 times and all of them verfied that my gprs should be working at that time as indicated in their database. Well one CS doesnt know what she is talking. She told me, that prepaid cannot access GPRS, only postpaid. And so i hit back by asking her, isnt GLOBE XTM offered for both prepaid and postpaid, she said yes. And i asked her, how can we access Globe XTM, she said through GPRS and there, LOL I told her so are you saying that prepaid users can access GPRS too? And she went quiet for a while

Sonera is the company based in Finland. Sonera is also one of the biggest Telco in Europe. ZED is a brand name of Sonera. Smart partnered with them for value-added services.

Things which are non-technical about Globe are their location, the unupdated customer service, hidden charges, misleading ads and some attractive frontliners. |

Paalala lang sa lahat. Huwag po ninyong i-post dito ang mga settings at configuration ng globe GPRS dahil hindi ito ang tamang forum. paki-check ang post ni arnoldc.
Keep the discussions related to non-technical matters. read dlreyes post FYI |

No announcements in Bulletin, Star and Inquirer. Text messages could not be considered as official advisories because it is a value added service and the subscriber is not bound to read it. There is absolutely no proof that you are aware of such messages UNLESS
1. A reply was requested that the subscriber has received the message or
2. That the subscriber has admitted reading such a message (like through this thread)
It's really funny that I have not received any text message regarding the notification... And this is the truth! |
