Works quite good for me both at home and in the car (Audi a6 avant).
So for me it works like expected. |

I think i'll give this thing a miss then. It basically sounds like the Tunecast II, useless.

if it works for one guy, why are all the others having probs? I can't believe it's a manufacturing quality issue - so far that's about a 80% failure rate!!
There must be some other factor causing the problem?? Seriously, I've had fm transmitters working fine, although never the range is as good as claimed. Does the mmr-60 allow broadcast on any fm frequency or just within a narrow band (like tunecast etc)?
I'm going to test the living f**k out of the mmr-60 before I leave the shop!!

If Emanuelj + Trance bought it from the same seller on ebay and since you both are in Sweden, it is strange one mmr-60 works and not the other.
Emanuelj, are you in a rural area with limited/minimal FM transmission?
I have packed up my MMR-60 and its sitting in the return box, still not believing I got jacked by SE......looking for a glimpse of hope from more users with a working one.....
just a thought anyone wanna buy it off of me? maybe you wil have better luck with it

I'd say dont bother. Its quickly becoming obvious to me all FM transmitters are unreliable when they're used in an area with lots of other FM broadcasts.

In my area we have just six radio channels, of course the sound isn't perfect, you can hear some noise between the songs but apart from that i'm quite satisfied, of course it could have bean better but hey it is a so small device. |

Dont you feel at all like you've been robbed however ? because the device does not perform to how it states on the box.. ?

I see where you are coming form etaab, however I have used fm transmitters for years without serious problems. However if you expect sounds as good as a really clear and strong radio station will give - I've never achieved that. To me, the sound quality is good enough for easy listening but ideally a digital system would be much better.
If you use a car, get a wireless transmitter installed in the car (it connects directly inline with the antenna input to the radio) and plug the audio lead coming out of the fm transmitter into a hpm-70. This is how I use my phone's music in the car. That system results in virtually no noice or interference at all.
