 | I think thet are still fixing some minor problems with the production. Well would u like to have a product that was simply rushed out to meet the demands of consumers or one that takes slightly a longer time to produce and yet it comes with quality. I'm sure the latter will satisfy the consumers more. |

Regarding why this is not blietooth:

Headset size and battery life would be no good. FM music is analog. Data transfer over bluetooth is digital. so the headset would have to have a decoder in there. I think.

It could actually have been bluetooth if it were designed along a different line of thinking. Imagine it were a relatively ordinary FM stereo radio. Imagine it had a bluetooth headset profile, which allowed the radio to be interrupted or ducked, and a bluetooth audio link set in place instead. Then when the conversation is over, bluetooth audio ceases and it's back to being an ordinary FM radio at full quality.

Now, the thing is, what I've often wanted is a bluetooth headset profile enabled headphone (not those stupid things you put in your ears and they fall out and you put them back in and they fall out and you put them back in and they fall out and you put them back in and they fall out and you put them back in and they fall out and you put them back in and then you try taking them back to the shop on the premise that they're not designed for ears), but proper headphones. These headphones would plug into pretty much anything you like, but would also respond to phone calls by allowing a bluetooth device to use it as headset profile. Normally, it works from ordinary audio - wherever you plug its stereo 3.5 minijack. Get a phone call and bluetooth kicks into play. Neat idea, eh?

 | @Rods, I think you hit the nail on the head with this one. The MP2/FM can be a self contained unit with its own battery and MStick slot, etc.. and the earphone can be BT'ed to the T68(i) whenever a call comes in..
Don't need the juice from the T68(i) and can still use it as a handsfree with MP3/FM..
