Hi all,

Are you really sure that the SMS alert signal got stronger when going to R5A? I just upgraded my phone, and I couldn't hear any difference at all. Is it really louder, or are we just kidding ourselves just because we really, really _really_ want a higher SMS tone?

This is so irritating. Every time there is a software upgrade, there is someone saying that "the menues got a bit faster", or "SMS typing got faster". The lastest fashion is apparently to say that the SMS ring tone got a bit lounder. Is nobody really checking these things? Are we just saying these things because we want things to get better?

There are still a few things that I hope for in the coming firmware releases.

Lounder SMS tone (the difference should be audiable, too
Configurable SMS tone (you should be able to choose your own melody)
Possibility to quickly type double letters in multitap (now you have to wait, this is super-annoying)
Faster switch between multitap and T9 (pressing and holding is painfully slow)
Longer boomarks allowed (wap.SL.se links don't fit currently)
Faster email access (now it takes a minute to send/receive mail)
Possibility to send images directly from MCA-20 to PC via bluetooth (now you have to copy the images one by one to the phone, which takes FOREVER)
SMS / missed calls in the screensaver
Faster menues (I really hate that lag!)

What do you guys say?

no... it's the point of no return once upgraded with the MMS firmware you can't get it back to the old T68m firmware... you'll will be getting the same firmware as the T68i users when updating it after the MMS upgrade.

I think se should sort out the phone book menu so that you can save a number to your simcard, and choose between sim and phone memory, i dont know why they always ignore that part?

The sms tone is noticeably louder in a quiet place. T9 problem has been fixed with this version. I can now add new words...again!
