Aside from what I already have..
Skype
Angry Birds
Chrome to Phone
Maybe a wallpaper or 2
I'll give Firefox a try but to be fair the inbuilt browser is pretty good.
The home screen space and the HD recording are what I like the look of and any speed enhancements are always welcomed.
P.S. Confirmation from anyone with the update that the multi-touch is definitely out of the question would be good. Test in browser and in Angry birds if not in a multi-touch demo app of some description. I'm still not 100% either way on those videos we saw and I wouldn't put it past SE to spring us with a surprise.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

I like the social phonebook feature, if it works really well.
@Toney Ericsson - mate, have a read of this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-11650593 Ring any bells for you?
@OffLineR - surely some bright chap can make an app to implement the arc slider? I too would prefer to continue with that. The side to sider is not as nice an experience.
@App lovers, the best thing about the update is that practically all new apps become an option once more. Over the year it got a bit frustrating going to A-Market and not being able to find apps people were talking about because of 1.6 nto supporting it. Am looking forward to installing BuzzVoice and especially WorldMate.

The built-in browser is excellent indeed, i deleted Opera Mini and Dolphin as they are totaly CRAP compared to the X10's built-in browser, and im looking forward to the improvements that 2.1 bring to it, and i just want to see how Firefox and Dolphin HD are, otherwise i will probably continue using the X10's built-in browser.

Only thing that missing on the built-in browser is lack of file upload.

Hola
Just found out from friend in Sweden that the update to 2.1 is out... If I understand correctly he was able to do so via his SEUS Pro account which he had access to SE's EMMA services. Not sure if it out via regular SEUS though, maybe someone else can confirm this.
Thousands have been waiting for a long time... and most of us will still be waiting. |

AFAIK, yes. It asks you to backup before doing the update.

Surely Firefox 4 is going to be worth a try but till now I have been using Dolphin Browser and it's excellent. It's way better than default browser. When it comes to loading of webpages, it's faster and has better features. I also tried Skyfire but the difference I see between Skyfire and Dolphin is the webpage size. On Skyfire it's very much compressed for some reason.
Angry Birds is a nice game, I mean it kills some good time (while you are waiting somehere).
Live wallpapers is going to be the first thing I'm going to try. Infact I will keep it for few days and see how it affects the battery life. If it's usable then surely I'm going to keep it.
I need Skype as I do have a lot of contacts on skype more than msn messenger and somehow I feel msn has lost it's charm cause these days I see lot of people coming on skype and facebook than on msn so yeah!
Twitter, I think it's lame so $%^& that!
Also not to forget the social phonebook by Sony Ericsson, great feature I must say that. It's going to be nice and quick to get in touch with everyone be it calls, messaging, gtalk or facebook!
There are lot of 3D games like Fifa 2010, Assasin's creed etc
All in all there is going to be a lot of fun on X10
T200 -> T68i -> T610 -> K700i -> P910i -> W800i -> P990i -> M600i -> P1-> Nokia E71 -> X1i -> X10 -> Arc S -> Sony Z1 -> Sony Z Ultra -> Sony Z3+ -> iPhone 6 -> iPhone 7 Plus -> iPhone X -> iPhone XS Max |
