Just a quick joke, and ten thousand apologies if i have told it before, but it is one of my favourite jokes.
What do you get if you cross an atheist with a dyslexic (sorry spelling) and an insomniac?
A person who lies awake at night wondering if there is a dog:)

lol Francois!
Here's one that always makes me smile:
A father is in church with his 3 young children, including his five year old daughter. He sat in the very front row so that the children could properly witness the service. During this particular service, the minister was performing the baptism of a tiny infant. The little five year old girl was taken by this, observing that the minister was saying something and pouring water over the infant's head. With a quizzical look on her face, the little girl turned to her father and asked, "Daddy, why is he brainwashing that baby?"

lol Kryptic, that one hits the spot, a sensitive spot in our country i recon.
That is always the one thing that has puzzled me: why baptize babies? i thought it was a personal choice, the bible was clear on that, and then every single baby has to get the sprinkles.

The thing is, there are religions that just about force you into them. Sometimes Christianity has become that, but that is in a form where it has lost the plot. The thing about being a Christian is a relationship with God, not a forced relationship, a willing one, one where you choose to have it. God gave us the freedom of choice, the freedom to choose Him or reject Him. So in that sense, I have a negative connotation to the word "Religion", since religion has become the nr.1 enemy of the church. When I hear that word, I think of everything the pharisees got up to in the Bible, basically trying to do stuff to get into heaven. If Christianity was the whole "Earn your way into heaven" thing, it would be dead. Too bad 90% of the time that is what happens.

lol! I had to say something stupid...i was quiet for most of the conversation yesterday...reason being I was at the airport.
So I got a shirt from NY yesterday. Also, I got to have a long conversation about South Africa, related issues with a fairly informed African-american girl. She is on Peacecore or something. Funny enough, like my friend Handsome, she does not agree with affirmative action, and also, empowering africa instead of sending aid that gets lost in corruption. We talked lots about corruption. She went on about the g8 summit, and how they talked about the corruption issue being the big one that is fueling all the problems.
I enjoy chatting to people from different races and nationalities about their view of the world and africa. The big American trend and maybe this has always been, is to do volunteer work in Africa. I still want to muse about this a bit more

The one thing that bothers me about Windows is the fact that I always turn of the Windows Sounds and all that, but somehow they switch themselves on once every few weeks. It is damn annoying....It is as bad as having keytones on your phone when you sms a lot....

I've come close to murdering my two best friends, both with clamshell LGs that tinkle every time they open and close. And whoever decided keytones were a crucial invention was a damn masochist.
Francois, you mentioned being stuck with the butterfly skin. Have you noticed it keeps changing?
