@Pxt: Mine's version 2, (Opera hack) There's a version 3, but no english version yet. If you llike, I could email the version 2 to you as an attachment. Its too large to send via mms. (174kb)

@aya..i used the link you provided and downloaded a zip archive file of about 170kb. I unzipped this file only to get class files with no jar file. I don't know the way forward since i am not a tech guy

I finally got opera mini hack vs 2. It succeeded in removing the real opera mini 3.

It beats me when people say one version of opera mini overwrites a previously installed version. I have three versions on my phone and they all run independently.

@Mamba: For where? the phone price don go up again o, its now N48k and I get some other more important things to do with money. Phone fit wait.
Oops I guess I spoke too soon. Operamini version 3 and the russian hack cannot be installed on the same phone the latter always overwrites the former. But the russian v2 outclasses the official v3

One major problem with this Opera mini hack is the lack of support for secure sites. I wanted to login to my online banking platform this morning and the message pops up: " the communication between your browser and this site is not secure". Too bad, but I cannot compromise security for multiple tabs. I'm re-installing v3 right away.

Not to worry, version 3 of the russian hack which is in Beta testing will take care of those security issues, as well as give you tabbed browsing. Its only a matter of time.
