It is in the phone section of Advanced Configuration Tool.

I won't be able to try the new panels for a while. My X1 is in the UK for repair. And there is a delay in getting parts to repair it. And they have no idea how long it will take to get them in.
I am getting quite frustrated.

Yeah but it's crap. Advanced Configuration Editor all the way.

and to think you were a proud TyTN-II owner, what has the iPhone done to you?lol.
Enlightened me!
The TyTN2 was a decent phone in its day, back when the iPhone was just a very expensive ipod with no third party apps, no Exchange email, no real comparison to the smartphones I was used to. But the iPhone 3G left it for dust, and it's still light years ahead of the X1 for all the same reasons! It'll be pushed even further ahead in June when OS3 hits, when all X1 users have to look forward to is obsolescence (and perhaps one last massively expensive panel to add to the meagre collection).
Sorry to be so negative, but I really think the X1 is an expensive lesson to all concerned. SE need to drastically improve their smartphone game (what there is of it) and the customers need to be a hell of a lot more wary of whatever comes next.
Who was Johnny X btw? Anyone care? Thought not.

Geeky businessmen would disagree with you Boinng. iPhone is more mainstream so it would always appeal to more people. |

The Iphone is absolutely RUBBISH at multitasking and therefore for that simple reason; it os NOT better than the X1.
Iphone is nice but only just qualifies as a smart phone when it comes to running many apps at once which I do.
That must be why I'm still using a P1
Incidentally to all those iPhone geeks out there... I did use an Iphone for a while.... It went straight back into the naff box it came in. It's a nice sexy midrange phone and very well put together but it is far from the powerhouse that it is advertised as.

Nothing to add.
And SE X1 rocks...
There's no aspect where iPhone can battle that, in some ways it's not even close to it.
But that was discussed 100 times..
Let them love it for any reason... |

Johnny X is more important than, say, Steve Jobs.
Don't remind me - I already know that the above sentence is idiotic but I just couldn't hold back. |

Hmmn, I dont know. The fact is, both devices have their own characteristics. Neither is better than the other, but each is the more competent in certain areas. Be aware though, that sim free, the iphone is very expensive also. Also, if the X1 was provided with the massive number of apps which the iphone has backing it (for free, not the WM trial or $$ rubbish), then there would be no question which is better. IMO, there is very little that the X1 can be criticized for, as a device (barring wm faults, of course). Mainly, I'd just want it to be faster and to have a more sophisticated mxp, and a better speaker would be nice, too. |

@Tigershark42 seconded, in my country iPhone 3G (SIM free) retails for around $1,100. |

For the average user who doesnt know what is what...it is fine to use... when you can write a better software then call it crap...lol... I personally use it over advanced config. because I dont have the time to mess with all the different settings it has, which MOST people will never use or understand anyway.
Cheers,
WC

Good news for X1 owners:
WM6.5 upgrade policy has been changed! Now Microsoft will leave it up to vendors to decide whether they will release new devices with the new software only or whether they will offer upgrades to existing devices. You need 128MB RAM and 400MHz processing to be able to upgrade. This could be a pretty crucial upgrade for the X1 IF SE decide to make the X1 upgradable. Otherwise, you will need to go to XDA Devs for something new >D |
