can it work with manual shutter speed? If it is the latter,it seems not.The iso will be auto.

I modified Raider camdriver_66 to make ISO always be 100 when using manual shutter speed.

you've discovered something very very interesting! you may have just found how to control ISO, at least with Raider's driver. all shots below are with Raider's 6.6 driver. i manually set shutter to 1/13s and i manually set EV to zoom 2.0. look at the results of series of shots below ... each increase of EV resulted in an increase in ISO. did this many times. same result each time. i think we have found how to control ISO!

Setting EV anything lower than 2.0, resulted in ISO 80 shot since the w810 can't set ISO lower than 80.

shot 1: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.0 = ISO 80
shot 2: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.1 = ISO 100
shot 3: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.2 = ISO 125
shot 4: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.3 = ISO 160
shot 5: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.4 = ISO 200
shot 6: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.5 = ISO 160 - my error went down instead of up
shot 7: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.6 = ISO 320
shot 8: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.7 = ISO 400
shot 9: shutter 1/13s, EV 2.8 = ISO 500

Then... it is possible to set ISO 100 all the time by default on NO manual shutter speed (I mean EM) ?

I realy would like to do this on Lpachoung's drivers since I'm getting noise on indoor shots... (ISO 160, 200, 240, etc)

Could anyone tell me what should I edit on driver to do this?
Thanks everyone, good work moders

lpachoung will do this surely in a new version of his a4a driver.. at least im really hoping so

im following this forum for a big time now, waiting all the time for driver which can control ISO... ive heard that an old SPU release had this possibility but i used only lpachuong cause i like the handling very much.

now, the ability of having control over ISO would make the driver perfect!
we could finally take shots like with an usual digital camera!

thanks to all the modding guys in here. i really apprectaite your work...

Dear friends.

Nice to see you here today (as I know you are reading my post )
At first, as usual, have a nice weekend everyone.

As I mentioned on the previous post, A4A will stop at version 9.9. But I think you here know me too much. I have said goodbye many times but I still here. Actually, for me, modding this driver is a good fun at the weekend. When I feel tired from studying and working, I use the camera to take some pictures and the more I take, the worse I feel the pictures are. That is the reason why I can't stop creating new drivers. I have had chances to use different phone camera: LG-Shine/ SE: k770i-k790i/k800i/w850i/w810i nokia 70/nokia 77/nokia 93 (because my friends have these phones). To be honest, I feel nokia is better than SE at this level of 2MP and 3MP. I really want to try k850i bcz I tried with N95 which is fantastic.

Anyways, come back to this topic, I love my phone which is k750i cid49. It can produce good pictures with good sharpness(00) but it produces bl***y noise. I hate this so much. Although there has been improvements on A4A but it is not enough. This weekend, I have tried to find out a way to produce low ISO for less noise but the only way seem to be effective is to set up high value of sharpness -> blurry pictures. I found Nokia has a fantastic way of mixing expusre and ISO so that the pictures have less noise. Although ISO and shrpaness values can be chosen from the driver, the software which produces the pictures(firmware) also plays an important role. I feel I'm useless with the firmware as the patches I created have bugs. Anyways, I would like you have a go with this driver: A4A 10.0

A4A-10.0

This version is used for w800i/k750i/w810i
Hope you like the attached software (Thanks to Mr. dukempg )

What are new about this version:

  • New ISO+Exposure rule: I have tested this one on my phone. I dont know how it works on the other phones. When you test this, please test it with outdoor and indoor scenes and pay attention to the information about ISO and Exposure. The method I used is to setup fixed values of ISO and Exposure but this will behave differently on different scenes and phones
    0(L) 1(H) => ISO Sensitivity
    2(L) 3(H) => Exposure
  • Updated JPEG HEADER CREATION
  • Zoom+infinity is temporily disabled
  • Editable values are setup on the top of the code. If you have time plesase test with different value of sharpness (except 07 )
  • If you get to bright pictures(overexposure) or too dark pictures (under exposure), please change the value $s0 40 in EM= to lower or higher value.
  • Orginal pictures with the information of your phones are welcome for futher process
  • with sharpness 00, Dont forget to use the software I attached. Use AutoProfile and change Noise level in Noise Filter Settings to +100% and 80% in Luminance Level -> Smooth Edges (Please try this tips - Thanks to dukempg

I stop talking now as it is too late. I'm looking forward to respond from you.
Enjoy and have a nice day.
The bests to you.

Upcoming

  • Macro for NeatImage, used for adjusting multi-files
  • Maybe a new enhancement for ISO+Exposure

To Modders We can create Chrominance effect on the pictures but which code is used for this. By lowering Chrominance value will can also reduce noise. If you have time, please play more on the seq_set_prop for futher improvement.

@all moders
studying on the effects of the photos taken with diffenent scenes, I think the relationship between the command parameter and the scene may be
06-- Portrait,01--Landscape,03-- Nightportrait,04-- Nightscene,05--sports,02-- Beach/snow or other but not 01,02,03,04,05,06

@strong
i didn't find the #SET(05,01) in your SuperFunction v5.6(download from ers.wz.cz/strong.html). And when i put the command into it, the iso seems still auto when using manual shutter speed. How to use the command #SET(05,01)?

i think its time to classify the moded drivers

because thread is becoming too big

one can never start reading form 1st page t0 the last

even one misses few days the number of pages swell up

so we must devise a way for classification as each driver is a master piece in its own way ....

so what every one else says it just my opinion ....

Thank you for your new driver.
Pictures taken with your driver are amazing. Outdoor pictures are wonderful. Indoor pictures are improved significantly. However, the value of ISO is not always 100. For outdoor pictures, I received ISO 1600 with a constant value of exposure: 2s. The quality is not different from ISO100 and low exposure. I'm surprised bcz there is almost no noise at this ISO. I think ISO1600 doesn't affect the quality of the picture at all. For indoor pictures, I got ISO100 all the time with Exposure 1/2 and 1.33. Again, there is almost no noise. I think this is because of ISO 100+long exposure. (I tested with sharpness 00 and 06). Does anyone else has the same results as mine? What I would like you to do is when you have free time, please find a way so that outdoor pictures can produce ISO 100 at short exposuration. That will make your driver perfect. In my opinion, this driver is great.

wickedsick, Thank you for your information. Did you test the driver with your w810i or with your sister's k750i? From your information, I think it has the same result as it is on my phone.As you know, a few days ago I talked about ISO 1600 and this time, I would like to use it for outdoor pictures. In order to reduce noise, I increase the exposure time to 2s for all outdoor scences. THe advantage is that you will have more detailed pictures and by using NeatImage, the pictures will turn out to be perfect as taken with 3MP digital camera This is good for static scenes. However, the disavantage is the slow shutterspeed for dynamic scenes. I will try to find a way to integrate these settings in the profile function. HOpe this piece of information is useful [addsig]

This version where you downloaded is without ISO profile here is the right http://www.sendspace.com/file/djlmbj

and in manual shutter speed the ISO is always 100
