hey guys sorry i was enjoying the easter hols anyway heres my mini review of the N95 first the gps does work well although it takes a while to locate your position..i am dissapionted that nokia want to charge extra for voice directions while navigating after paying £500 fo the phone everything should be free.the phone did hang alot doing the first 2 days if you picked the WLAN wizrd or maps applicaton the would just show the app loading up and the image would stay there for ages but there was no need to put off the phone because pressing the menu button takes u to the menu where basic things like callin and messaging work fine
pic quality is really good compared to the ones i took with my N73 back in d day its much better....no blue tint to the pics.but it stil lacks behind my 5.1mp cybershot which is to be expected.since yesterday the phone has been working flawlessley and i have been using msn messenger on it with my wifi for like an hour(although it keeps disconecting).the maps application is really cool..anywhere im walkin to i now use it ...lol(iv been getting wierd looks on the road).the webbrowser is really good and even manages heavy content websites.for the first 2 days battery life was really erratic il charge it overnight use maps for like 30mins(with wifi) and the phone would give me a low batt warning oe even restart.but now everything seems ok...im awaiting the fist firmware update...im so happy i didnt waste my money!!..cause ive been drinkin garri since i bought it... just to use gps to walk to tesco..lol

happy bday aya,how yal preparing for d elections..please stay safe and pray for our country o...cause na only god fit deliver us from obj and atikus clutches.

The Esato-inserted tag at the bottom of my last post says the post was made with a V360. There must be gremlins in the Esato server - na lie; I posted with a Nokia E61. Wetin? I can guess that it still says "V360" on this post too; right?

Am I missing something? The Celtel ads I have seen about all-night calls are about low-rate calls at 10 kobo per second; not free calls. anybody copy?

I noticed that the V360 tag showed up when I posted with Opera mini. The last post reflecting Nokia E61-1 was done with the built-in "Services"/WAP browser.

Celtel advert:

Simply Special package (no monthly access): Happy Hour calls @10k per sec
Simply Smooth package (N400 monthly access): Happy Hour calls @10k per sec
Simply Smart package (N3,600): Happy Hour calls @10k per sec

This info is verifiable on the Celtel website at: http://www.ng.celtel.com/en/personal-plans/unity/index.html

Ahem... where did our in-house free night apologists get the info that Celtel is now offering free night calls from?

@Aya: I don't remember anyone saying midnight calls were free on Celtel, I guess u just assumed so. They toed the footsteps of Glo to avoid network congestion. Only MTN offers free midnight calls.
@Mariwun: glad to see u're happy with ur new toy. You didn't talk about the media player and office support, those any good too?
@All: just upgraded my opera mini from the russian mod v1.2 to v2.0. Now I can open & view multiple windows. This is so cool
