@Rhino: I thought I was the only one experiencing that problem on mxit...MSN is on and off but mostly off.

I have the smiley menu, thats about it. My pix are flipped upside down in capture mode no matter which way i turn the phone, and the alert tones dont work. The error tone also happens to be my sms tone, which is a tad annoying. |

Seem like they'll have to go back to the lab on this one...how long was it in beta test phase?

Phones4U in the UK are now selling O2 PAYG K800i's for £199.95 (approx R2600).

Not bad...even if it needs unlocking to accept any sim. |

Haibo, mxit v5 runs smoothly on the 6630 and 6680, no picture or smiley problems, for some reason. Ironically it runs pretty well over here, despite the fact that the signal alternates between one bar and buggerall. I can hardly get online, but mxit works fine... I'm currently just outside Uniondale, in the Potjiesberg Pass, treating the girls to breakfast over the coals.

Back at work...really needed the time I had off around this weekend. Now for a nice busy week to get over this weekend=P
So in the meanwhile I have found my Smily menu on mxit. The one thing I still have an issue with is the file sending thing. The picture sending thing works, or at least, it worked on my first try. They need to sort out that bug.
I made my first video call last night. Two of my friends have N90's, and I tested it out with them last night. They do it every now and again...it was my first time. There was about a second lag in the thing, but cool nonetheless.
Off to the mxit forums to lament all the problems...

@ kryptic, it sounds so good...i would have loved to be out in the middle of somewhere/nowhere in particular, especially in the sabie area or perhaps the coast somewhere. Climbing the mountain Sunday was a small experience like that that was great. Just being surrounded by rocks and shrubs and trees, and being in the city, but not in it. Being away from it....
@ 786KBR, we are on the same boat then. I would also like to see the skins and stuff. Will definately get in on the skin making if at all possible.

I'm a bit dissapointed in Mxit because they don't have support for P800 and that means I ca"t use it!

@ rhino, true...just need to put time into it. I do not know how they hid the images. I am not that clued up on java, but the one .file file is definately not a class file, it has no extension, and is called "s", so to find out what and how they have done what will be quite the mission. I am thinking of giving up.
Anyway, go check out these links regarding Nokia's new offerings...
